Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
Highly recommend you post this every thread lest we ever forget that while he was starving Terri he sure didn't miss a meal.
God bless Senator Webster and Representative Baxley. I cried just looking at the picture. This is what we should have seen from Jeb, except that He wasn't really sorry. I'll never forget that a human being I trusted could be so cold and callous.
Smoke and mirrors re: memo not authorized by Senator Mel Martinez, Fla. SMOKE AND MIRRORS. This is not about a stupid memo. Terri was murdered by state decree and they want the world to forget about it. NO WAY.
Thank you for posting Webster's photo. Gives me hope. Good man.
See piggy, piggy. Your favorite Fla Senator's here. What a powerful fool he is.
King stinks.
Without a ruling, the wait continues
"When all of us decided we were going to vote no, it wasn't to be disruptive. It wasn't even to be collegial," said Sen. Jim King, R-Jacksonville, the author of the state's death with dignity law. "We did so because in our heart of hearts we thought it was the right thing to do for Terri and it was certainly the right thing for people who are like Terri."
Someone please throw Senator James King a jelly donut!!
what an inexcusable statement. I thought GREER WAS HITLER. Maybe Jim King is another euthanazi. "people like her." I HATE WHEN LEADERS AND JUDGES PLAY GOD. Why is Jim King mouthing off? Do we need to bombard his office with phone calls? If so, let me know and we'll ping all the ping lists to bombard his office. What an evil animal.

Does anyone in Florida have any intentions of doing anything other than feeding their faces (exempting you of course)?
"Smoke and mirrors re: memo not authorized by Senator Mel Martinez, Fla. SMOKE AND MIRRORS. This is not about a stupid memo. Terri was murdered by state decree and they want the world to forget about it. NO WAY."
Smoke and mirrors for sure!!
Anyone watch Sean tonight on Fox? Bobby and Suzanne were on and they gave a completely different view as to what happend when Terri died. Said Michael Schiavo had the whole thing staged to appear like the good guy and the whole holding Terri in his arms when she took her last breath was all staged as well. It doesn't surprise me!
my internet connection is having trouble
ohioan do you have a pdf that lists lobbyistS?
I don't what King's problem is. Maybe he knows something we don't and that's what's fueling his arrogance. He is owned by lobbyists imo, and the same hospice attorney/lobbyist that gave money to King also gave money to some of the Florida Nine....
We can't get the media to say a dang thang about him here in Jax since they own him or vice versa so I suggest that those of us in Florida start emailing this info to all our contacts and to all the reps/senators in Fl Legislature
I tried to confirm my memory that King ran unopposed for the FL sen but my internet is so goofy I can't get google...
The first list is all the contributions made by Thomas Panza--look at the second list too
Thomas Panza is a lobbyist for Hospice

HOW CAN A NON-PROFIT afford to give PAY OUTS to political candidates in return for VOTES?
KING IS ONE SICK MAN.
Another woman is being hydrated and starved to death. For those who don't know background, story is at end of contacts.

81-year-old neither terminally ill, comatose, nor in vegetative state

In a situation recalling the recent death of Terri Schiavo in Florida, an 81-year-old widow, denied nourishment and fluids for nearly two weeks, is clinging to life in a hospice in LaGrange, Ga., while her immediate family fights desperately to save her life before she dies of starvation and dehydration.
Mae Magouirk was neither terminally ill, comatose nor in a "vegetative state," when Hospice-LaGrange accepted her as a patient about two weeks ago upon the request of her granddaughter, Beth Gaddy, 36, an elementary school teacher.
Also upon Gaddy's request and without prior legal authority, since March 28 Hospice-LaGrange has denied Magouirk normal nourishment or fluids via a feeding tube through her nose or fluids via an IV. She has been kept sedated with morphine and ativan, a powerful tranquillizer.
Her nephew, Ken Mullinax, told WorldNetDaily that although Magouirk is given morphine and ativan, she has not received any medication to keep her eyes lubricated during her forced dehydration.
"They haven't given her anything like that for two weeks," said Mullinax. "She can't produce tears."
The dehydration is being done in defiance of Magouirk's specific wishes, which she set down in a "living will," and without agreement of her closest living next-of-kin, two siblings and a nephew: A. Byron McLeod, 64, of Anniston, Ga.; Ruth Mullinax, 74, of Birmingham, Ala.; and Ruth Mullinax's son, Ken Mullinax.
Magouirk's husband and only child, a son, are both deceased.
In her living will, Magouirk stated that fluids and nourishment were to be withheld only if she were either comatose or "vegetative," and she is neither. Nor is she terminally ill, which is generally a requirement for admission to a hospice.
Magouirk lives alone in LaGrange, though because of glaucoma she relied on her granddaughter, Beth Gaddy, to bring her food and do errands.
