I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

Scott Schiavo accused Terri's long time friend Diane Meyer (who testified Terri said of Karen Ann Quinlan when they were fighting to take Karen off the respirator, "Where there's life, there's hope.") of comiung on to Michael while he was marreid to Terri (before the accident).
Like the thugs they are they say rotten things about people, to damage their credibility. ALL LIES!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!!

Hopefully Colmes will remember how Scott Schiavo LIED about Furhman on the Monday night show. I doubt Colmes will even consider putting 2 + 2 together, and then realize just how much LYING the Schiavo gang has done.

The Empire Journal article is a great read. Terri's level of response is way beyond anything that would be considered PVS, imo. Over and over again, there are reports of obvious responses from Terri. According to MS, Terri was even able to sit in a chair and hold her head up. I've read these early reports before and was shocked by the reported improvements, that were ignored by the court and then later from the MSM, during the time of Terri's killing/murder.
I get so angry when I think of how Michael Schiavo discontinued Terri's therapy. There's no doubt in my mind that she would have regained much of her functions, had she had the treatment/therapy that she deserved. Outrageous. Please note - I witnessed my own Sister-in-law's recovery from a worse condition than Terri's.
Also, did you notice the reference to Terri's knees being swollen, in Feb of 1991? Would the swelling have been a result of someone breaking her knees? Swelling is a sympton of broken bones. Last year, I broke 4 bones on the top of my foot and it swelled up like a watermelon. Only God knows what happened to Terri during all those 15 years, when Michael Schiavo had free access to her. What a horrible tragedy and travesity of justice.
