I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

Sean and Terri's family said that Mark Ferman(sp?) is writing a book on Terri and has personally investigated it. The last time he did this someone got arressted and went to jail! Praise God! This book is going to be big! Sean personally talked to him about and asked him to look into it and he said he would and this book is going tob e a bombshell!
Sean also said the story of Terri Schindler is far from over and that he knows things he is not at liberty to dicuss on the air at this time!!!!!!!!!!!
The Schindlers have such grace and class. I can only hope that I can be a bit like them if I am ever in the situation they just went through.

It was interesting that Bobby Schindler mentioned that attempted murder has a 4 year statute of limitation. But now it's not attempted murder, it's actual murder, now that they succeeded in killing Terri, so the statute of limitation doesn't apply.

I have been extremely busy of late and missed the info that Mark Fuhrman is coming out with a book about Terri's case. This could turn out to be a tremendous step forward in the struggle for life and the Constitution and against these runaway death Judges. I pray it is.
I wonder how Mark treats Judge Greer in the book. Of course Michael is the central focus when you look at the background...why is this woman being killed? Well, her "husband" insists on it. Really? Why on earth?...
And on it goes.
But I am extremely interested in the goods on a certain judge. That certain judge is the actual reason why Terri was cruelly killed. Without him in Mikey's pocket, this unspeakable evil would not have happened.
The judges, the judges...it always comes back to that!
This is one book I will not miss reading....Maybe Mark has enough proff to put Greer,MS and Felos all on death row !!!!!
The pain on Terri's Mom and Dad's faces was heart breaking, as I watched them on Hannity's show. I'm appalled too, that no one rescued Terri.
I'm glad to hear the movement is growing to stop the ghouls of death. Great news that Mark Furhman's book will be out soon. Hannity is the only person on Fox that I respect. The rest of them are worthless.
Terri's family didn't have to look at Colmes face tonight. That's a good thing.
I'm sure that Terri's family doesn't want to be on the same show with Colmes, and frankly I wouldn't blame them! He is pathetic!
I can't stand him, Halls. Colmes doesn't have a heart. He proved that during the time Terri was being killed. His attitude towards Terri's family was sickening.

The article is about the judges who are appointed. How it doesn't make much difference who appoints them. They voted against Terri and they were Bush judges.
What ever happened to MS anyway? I haven't seen or heard of him since Terri's murder. Did he get cremated, too?
This case must be investigated by an independent special prosecutor. It would be best if this is a Florida AG investigation and not a Federal Justice Dept investigation, and the special prosecutor resides in the Florida AG's office. We must have a thorough, unbiased investigation to find out why Terri's "accident" was so poorly investigated and why Greer issued so many strange, unfair, and inexplicable legal rulings in this case.

Famed detective Mark Fuhrman, whose independent investigation into the Martha Moxley murder led to the conviction of Kennedy-cousin Michael Skakel, is probing the Terri Schiavo forced starvation case.
"He spent a month on the ground in Tampa," revealed Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity Friday night. "He's talked to many of the principals involved investigating the case and he's coming out with a book."
Hannity said he personally contacted Fuhrman in March to suggest he probe a myriad of unresolved questions about Ms. Schiavo's condition, including a 1991 bone scan report showing that Schiavo suffered fractures sometime prior to being found unconscious in her home in Feb. 1990.
Schiavo's family has repeatedly said they suspect Terri's condition was the result of a violent fight she had with her husband Michael. Police never probed the case for evidence of assault because by the time the bone scan became public in 2002, the statute of limitations had run.
Det. Fuhrman's investigation would be the first to review the case for evidence of a possible crime.
"All I can say," the talk host told his "Hannity & Colmes" audience, "is that this is not over. Stay tuned."
Fuhrman's book "Murder in Greenwich" was widely credited with blowing the lid off the Moxley-Skakel case.

TV deprived and its a good thing, I couldn't bear to see the faces of Terri's family. Bless their hearts, we have never seen better examples of Christianity than what they displayed. I regret to say I was and am so very angry (righteous indignation I like to call it) but what I saw from the Schindlers was true faith and an unbelieving attitude that this could really happen. I pray that they will be blessed with all good things, they are truly wonderful people.

The parents and siblings of Terri Schiavo said Michael Schiavo is keeping them in the dark about where her remains will be laid to rest.

Terri Schiavo's parents and siblings said Friday that they still have not been told where the brain-damaged woman's remains will be laid to rest.
Appearing on Fox News Channel's Hannity & Colmes on Friday night, Bob and Mary Schindler, their son Bobby and daughter Suzanne Vitadamo said Terri Schiavo's husband is keeping her remains from them.
''They were supposed to tell us, and we still have not heard from . . . Michael Schiavo where Terri's been laid,'' Bobby Schindler said. ``Our family expected this. Michael has disobeyed court orders throughout the ordeal and continues to do so today.''
The Schindlers have held four memorial services for their daughter.
LEGALLY OBLIGATED
Michael Schiavo is under court order to notify the Schindlers of his plans for a memorial service. He had his wife cremated, and said her ashes would be buried at a family plot in Pennsylvania.
George Felos, Michael Schiavo's attorney, did not return a call Friday night.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died March 31 in a Pinellas Park hospice, 13 days after her feeding tube was removed by court order. She suffered brain damage in 1990 after a chemical imbalance caused her heart to stop.
She left no written instructions in the event she became disabled, and her husband said he never would have wanted to be kept alive in what court-appointed doctors called a persistent vegetative state with no hope of recovery.
The Schindlers, however, doubted she had any such end-of-life wishes. They maintained she would benefit from rehabilitation, despite most doctors saying her condition was irreversible.
Federal and state courts repeatedly rejected attempts by Florida lawmakers, Gov. Jeb Bush, Congress and President Bush to intervene on behalf of her parents.
`DISAPPOINTED'
Bob Schindler, Terri's father, said he was angry that lawmakers did not do more to help his daughter.
''I'm disappointed in Governor Bush,'' he said. ``My goodness, the system is just atrocious.''
During a seven-year legal battle, the Schindlers sought independent investigation of their daughter's condition and what caused it. Abuse complaints to state social workers were ruled unfounded.
About 40 judges in six courts were involved in the case at one point or another. Six times, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to intervene.
As Schiavo faded, Congress rushed through a bill to allow the federal courts to take up the case, and President Bush signed it March 21. But the federal courts refused to step in.
Her autopsy results are pending.
