Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

"Darrell White gave a talk about Terri on c-span and if I were a judge, I'd join his group. I believe I'll send him a thank you email for holding Greer's feet to the fire."

I would have loved to have heard what Darrell White had to say. I'm sure there are many judges across this land who where shocked by what happened to Terri. I still just can't believe it. It's the worst thing that has happened in our country.

Crist is working to get tuff on the sex offenders and it appears he is loving the attention he is getting. I just now saw a clip of him on MSNBC. Wasn't Crist AWOL when it came to helping Terri and her family? Where were those who should have investigated the abuse early on?

I just read today here on Freerepublic about a stinking abortion clinic where a baby was born alive, with NO doctor there to try and save it. Of course, after all it was a Death House, so I'm not surprised.

Like someone said on that thread, our country has gone insane with what happened to Terri and all the abortions. America has a big problem with killing the innocent. May God have mercy on us all.

Terri Schiavo backlash: The political price of endorsing murder

mid-April 2005 From the Florida Times-Union:

Jim King has a 19-year record of solid fiscal conservatism in Tallahassee and a resume that includes the presidency of the Florida Senate.

He easily won the only three contested elections he's ever had and was most recently re-elected with 66 percent of the vote.

But King is worried about re-election in 2006, and he may have good reason. Jacksonville's most senior state senator is the only one of nine Republicans who is up for re-election after voting against a state law last month that may have saved Terri Schiavo's life.

King also is the subject of an online petition drive that asks Gov. Jeb Bush and the state Republican Party to suspend him, permanently remove him from office and bar him from representing the party -- all because of his Schiavo vote.

It is interesting that the issue of euthanasia seems to be defying traditional party lines. There are opposing social v. fiscal elements in both major parties, of course nationally the Democrats have succeeded in stifling the elements in their party that sincerely regard faith (as opposed to those who use it as a means to an end), but some still remain, much more on the local level.

The accepted two-dimensional political chart used so often is severely flawed and that's never been more apparent than now, when issues have arisen that clearly show that the normal Liberal/Conservative labels do not apply. It's easy to look for one handy title rather than finding out what a candidate stands for, and that's been a problem for some time now.

King and his fellow faithless Republicans have make their bed, and the gaunt face of Terri Schiavo haunts us and demands we make them sleep in it.

Sun, you are so correct about the Brain dead diagnosis. My sister-in-law was on a repirator for several months, due to a motor cycle accident. The doctors used the *brain dead* words about her. The Doctors were totally WRONG.

She recovered significantly. I swear she was much worse off than Terri, but had years of treatment. Her brain even swelled up and they had to put a drainage tube right in the top of her skull. She was in a coma for so long and etc. Couldn't talk or eat and on and on, just like Terri. That's why I always was so sure Terri could have recovered so much if she only had treatment and therapy.

Terri was abused over and over again, just because of the denial of therapy. How the heck did that jerk get by with withholding treatment and therapy? I get so angry everytime I think of that ghoul Felos getting so much of Terri's therapy trust funds. Talk about a travesty of justice. I'm sure she would have been speaking and eating without a feeding tube, if ONLY SHE HAD THERAPY.

Doctors do NOT know everything and I think originally they were in a big hurry to remove Teron's respirator. I hope the family had good doctors to advise them and NOT some of those hedious ones we've all heard LYING about Terri. As we know, all doctors and bio-ethics people are NOT the same. Some care about life and some don't. It is as simple as that. The big problem is knowing the difference. I hope the family wasn't pressured by anyone. What a horrible ordeal for them all.

Prayers for Teron and his family.

This was not a liberal or conservative issue. Murder is a crime and someone is going to have to be the scapegoat and others should be voted out of office. It may take time but it's important to meet candidates and get their position on Terri specifically and the disabled generally.

I won't vote for anyone unless I know they are not going to become pals with the fringe elements like George Soros who pour millions of dollars into the euthanasia lobby and then get a multi-million dollar refund from our tax dollars.

I fear HOSPICE too, Saundra~!!! Sadly, I'm even fearful of regular hospitals and nursing homes.

I really don't understand why anyone puts their loved ones in a Hospice anyway. They do nothing for the person at best and hurry or cause their death at worse. If Woodside could do the things they did to Terri, then all the rest of the Hospice's are capable of it too. I'm sure those in charge at Woodside Hospice don't wear horns on their head. At least some of those nurses quit over what happened to Terri.

Now I'm getting mad about Felos forming a circle of about 30 around Terri's bed with the so called angels of the hospice. What was that about? Her family was run out of the room and those nurses/aids come in. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I've sure changed my view of the Medical profession, that's for sure. I don't trust them anymore.

You said you couldn't sleep during the murder of Terri. I fully understand!! I don't think our minds can even yet process what happened in Florida with our country watching as those in power said they could do NOTHING. It's crazy making nuts to say there was NO law to stop Terri's deliberate murder.

It wasn't about any right to die. Terri was clearly FORCED TO DIE and like you, I'll never get over it. Also, I understand what you mean about the closeness to the Lord all that horror caused. I prayed like I hadn't in years. I cried so hard and so much that my family pleaded with me to stay away from the news about Terri. I couldn't rest until she was safe.

But there never was the SAFE. They killed her and I'm crying for her right now. Thank the Lord, she will never be harmed again. She is with God the Father and the Lord Jesus and all the Angels are rejoicing cause she is now SAFE. Felos and Greer and especially HINO can never hurt her again. We will all see her someday.

I'm upset with the Republicans too. These attacks on Delay even make me more upset. I really believe he tried to help Terri. I think Santorum and a few Republicans in Florida tried to help Terri also. Those Republican women in Florida who voted against helping Terri make me physically sick to my stomach. How on earth can a woman vote to kill a daughter of Mary Schindler? How?? How can they ignore the fact that HINO had a new family? Are those women nuts or have they given their soul over to the abortion movement?

You might be right about the end times. There are lots of scriptures that would agree too. The hearts of so many women in this country have been hardened to accept abortion and now this new killing/murder. Those who voted to kill Terri must not have a heart. It was WRONG and it will forever be WRONG.

There are absolute values and I'm sick of this new garbage that has been taught in the Public Schools. It's called Values clarification. It's the *Who gets thrown out of the Boat talk*. Well, it's working. People were brain washed into believing murder is okay.

People believe it's okay to suck a baby's brains out while his little head is still in the womb. Our country had a person (Kerry) run for president who said it's okay to do those Partial Birth Abortions. Congress and Pres Bush put a stop to that hedious act, but Judges have said it's unconstitutional. WHOSE CONSTITUTION are those Judges reading? Maybe Stalin's or Hitler's. Yep, maybe it is the end times or we just have a country with very evil people in power.

Saundra, there IS ONLY ONE ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEMS and it's GOD ALMIGHTY~~!!! Our Lord is the only one we can trust. Terri is a precious angel who brought us back to where we should be and that is on our knees in prayer. I will always love her so much.

"I had a friend that was in his home under mobile hospice care some years ago. I tried to help him after everyone gave up on him, but I was threatened with 'jail' if I persisted.""

You were threatened with jail??? Yikes and good grief. That's an outrage for you to be stopped from helping your friend. It sounds like what happened at Woodside when people were arrested for trying to give Terri water.

FV, you're so right about how the sorrow and outrage over what happened to Terri crosses all party lines. I have Demo friends who are furious with their party over their lack of doing anything to help her.

Imagine being a Democrat(EEEKKK) and hearing the head of your party, Howard Dean blasting the Republicans for trying to stop the murder of Terri. Howard Dean is a stinking lunatic fool, for not realizing that there are many Demos who still have a heart and hated what happened to Terri.

Someone on another thread said they wished there was a *Call Center* to call and talk to others about what happened to Terri. I am so grateful that I found you all during these past months. It would have been even worse without people like yourself to talk to about how I felt.

Thank you so much for being here. We still need your monthly threads for Terri. In fact, I hope we always have your threads to go to and share our thoughts about this horrible precedent that Greer has caused with Felos' help.

Sometimes I feel so helpless to stop this very powerful Culture of Death. By myself I might be non-effective, but if enough of us continue to gather together and brain storm what can be done, then we CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Your post is so insightful. Do you mind if I use it in the future, and, of course, give you the credit?

I would have given Teron more time, if it were me. I hope his family had competent and honest doctors. I wonder if they ever took any of Teron's organs. I've looked everywhere, but have not heard. My husband was just reading to me that they give anethesia to patients when taking their organs. If they are "brain dead" then why do they need anethesia. I don't know whom to trust anymore.

I'm still so frustrated and sad about Terri, as we all are.

Good story about King.

I think too many voters make the mistake of thinking that if a politician is "fiscally" conservative, they are conservative about everything.

BeHoldAPaleHorse:

PooHBAH and his leftist friends are not as clever as you believe.
Using this abandoned account to return and 'slap down' a freeper
you've shown hatred for recently violates the rules.

I can see there was a reason why the 3rd letter in that old account name was
originally capitalized, even though it is NOT the first letter of a new word.

Taking all the capital letters from that abandoned account (BHAPH)
and rearranging them slightly, you get PHBAH. Adding back in two
of the vowels from that accountname, and you get PooHBAH.
I wouldn't be surprised if the remaining letters originally
meant something as well, like: elles dear PooHBAH

Your little hate-group was warned recently NOT to post the real name
of the freeper you addressed. But that seems EXACTLY why you and friend
came back to make the snide 'dig' starting at post #2028. Well, that,
plus also to drive a WEDGE between the real conservatives
still proud to be here.

Jim: I'm sure you have the ability to verify IP addresses, or by
other means verify this dead account is a returning retread, correct?

Another page from the program for Terri's memorial Mass. Terri sketched the dog and the horse.

Terri's mom wrote, "Bobby was about two-and-a-half years old and Terri was about three-and-a-half when Bobby accidentally locked her in a hard cover suitcase. I remember I was on the phone with their grandmother when Bobby came running into the room and tried to get me to go upstairs. When I did, I saw this suitcase hopping around. I think they were playing and he didn't realize how easy it was to lock it. Terri got him back though. Later that day, I saw Bobby come flying down the stairs. Terri had pushed him!"

Good morning! Just wondering if you have read Whittemore's decision? I haven't to my shame. According to another blogger, in count II (3) (he) accuses Greer of failing to personally evaluate Terri's responsiveness and count and
(IV) stating the 14th amendment had been violated.
Of course THAT was never reported! Hopefully it will be of some use in getting Greer removed. Guess I'll have to read ALL the decisions now. If this is so, didn't Whittemore just accuse himself of the same? Murderers with no consciences, that is what they all are.

I found this on the same blog, interesting to read what someone else thinks even if it is old news.
http://expertise.blogdrive.com/archive/315.html

As for why I feel there should be another trial, the people over at Liberals For Terri probably explain it better than I do:

The euthanasia hoopla is a sideshow. This isn't about euthanasia or letting Terri "die with dignity": She can swallow food but the husband won't let her. She can speak but her husband won't let anyone see her do it. Eyewitness reports are dismissed. Competent doctors are stonewalled. Her settlement money is spent on legal fees supporting her "right" to death by dehydration. And, most importantly, the husband may have caused her current condition. So let me ask you: would you want that man making your life-and-death decisions? Would you still want him as a spouse?

Apparently the feeling is mutual. He has moved on to a new "common-law wife" and two new kids. Her care is being provided free of charge by a terminal-patient hospice run by his lawyer's cronies at no expense to her husband or her vanishing estate. The only condition is that he continue to support the "decision" to kill her - something he apparently has no problem doing.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a case for CSI Tampa, not euthanasia court? If they manage to kill Terri Schiavo, Franz Kafka is reportedly coming back from the grave to write another book.

The Terri Schiavo question is not about the Right To Life or the Right To Death with Dignity. It is really about the Right To Indemnification from acts of Mortal Treachery, Medical and Legal Fraud. It is also about the Right To Have Our Mortal Wishes Respected.

We can argue the larger point all day long, but we can't let those that engage in incriminating and fraudulent behavor make life-or-death decicisions - whichever way they may go - on behalf of someone who may have been set up from the beginning. The truth is in there somewhere, and it's time to take a long, hard look at it before it's too late.

That's what it's ultimately about. The abortion/right to life issue is a smokescreen for a negligent husband that is doing everything he can to kill his own wife. And he had the nerve to insult Republicans this weekend, specifically Tom DeLay?

Regardless of whether the courts actually allow Terri to be killed - and that's exactly what's happening; they are killing her - one fact is certain: Michael Schiavo is one of the lowest forms of scum on this planet. And that's my word.
