Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
I'm stating facts but trolls would like to accuse me of bragging. I get involved because lots of young girls and women are being victimized in Florida or BY Florida, and nothing changes.
Total putz's are running the State Florida.
Any ideas of what she can do? I believe she is in California. The pictures are so graphic of what happened to her husband. Very very heinous and criminal.
Whoa! If you go to the photos page, Yes it is graphic folks, pics after death of a man who was starved dehydrated. She says the nursing home killed him.
I can't imagine why she would attack Terri supporters, maybe she would think starvation ok for someone with brain injury.
Continuing to write letters and make phone calls here. I will never forget what they did to Terri. NEVER!!!
"When all of us decided we were going to vote no, it wasn't to be disruptive. It wasn't even to be collegial, said Sen. Jim King, R-Jacksonville, the author of the state's death with dignity law. We did so because in our heart of hearts we thought it was the right thing to do for Terri and it was certainly the right thing for people who are like Terri."

Now to get Sen King to answer the question 'in detail'-Who is included in the group "People like Terri"?

fregards to the webmaster. FV
senator king spawn of dr. mengele. diabolical republicans do exist.
is the man naked in the graphic pictures? I don't want to see a naked guy this afternoon.
I got on this train of thought because I couldn't understand why the criminal investigation on Terri's collapse had been stopped. Mickey as a assistant manager wouldn't have the clout to stop it. But we need to question why it was stopped and I don't think it was because Mickey comped their meals or gave them and extra doughnut.
I thought this site from the DEA interesting.

I wonder if Mickey had gone through Narcanon.(affliated with the Scientologists)
Announcing per Rush Limbaugh. Florida just passed a new law. If a person "thinks" they are in danger, they can shoot anyone down in the street, in their home, in a building. Notice they waited to pass this bill until after they bumped Terri off. Or, imo, someone would have been shot at Hospice Woodside.
1849. anything?
New Slaughter House Rules - Thanks for posting that article! Very good.
I have been wondering why someone doesn't look up members of the original jury - who sat there and believed Michael Schiavo about how he loved Terri and would do everything in his power to take care of her and get rehab for her. He lied to each and every one of them and ended up using the money awarded to him to pay for lawyers to kill her.
Would it be possible to interview some of those jurors to find out how they feel about what happened to Terri? Just wondering.
I've noticed that a lot of people only care about the cases that supply graphic intimate details of the victims. I put up a post last night about a man who was starved and dehydrated to death. There was enough information to make that determination, but there were no photos of him on his death bed. No family members who were against killing him. His brain damage was the result of alcohol poisoning and/or a bar fight, so there's not much compassion there. I guess it takes most people weeks or even months of getting to know a person intimately before they care. And it has to be a likable person. If they don't know the person, or they don't particularly like the person, it's no big deal.
Jim King should head the list. Few are aware that many years ago, tragically, his spirit stopped for seven critical minutes due to hyperegotistical flatus. As a result, his moral cortex suffered irreversible atrophy and he became, in scriptural terms, a goat.
I went to your thread about the St. Cloud man. I think that the difference is that Terri was treated badly for 15 years and she had a will to live in spite of not getting the rehab she deserved. Fifteen years of evidence vs. an event that lasted a couple of weeks. I think that's the difference. It's still wrong either way. America is killing it's own people by starvation. Who voted on that? I didn't.
clarification: a naked deceased dude.
It is essential for us to keep the pressure on the politicians and the media and keep posting. I find it ridiculous that some of our politicians are talking about "bringing democracy" to other countries, by force if necessary. Yet look at what is happening right here.
I didn't either. But even if we had, it would still be wrong. The more it happens, the less wrong it feels to some people. If everyone in the world voted to kill useless eaters, it would still be wrong. I'm not just pissed off that it's happening. I'm also pissed off that so many people accept it, or even prefer it.
Yes it is a naked deceased eldeerly gentleman.
I will have to look some other time. I'm still trying to get over seeing Pope John Paul the last time he came to his window the day before Terri died. I believe he went to the window for all to see what suffering looked like. I got the message.
