You've got that right. And Red Ted Kennedy is one of their cardinals.

>>"Liberal Catholics." Isn't that the mob who believes that the Ten Commandments are really only the Ten Suggestions?<<

Oh geez, I just love this!
May I quote you?
May I quote you to my Flaming Lib/Former Cleveland teacher/lesbian/sister who is self proclaimed "So Marian"?

Mort can be fairly reasonable on econimics and foriegn policy. Once we enter the topic of social conservatism and Faith in general, time to turn the channel.

I'm not surprised by the NYT's, I am pleased they got caught.

Well apparently they failed to check out St. Patrick's Cathedral, full of people praying for the Pope, for his recovery and later for the repose of his soul. Fox and CNN both had snippets of conversations with people full of kind things to say. (Hear that, NY times? Get out from under your rock.)

go the way of the protestant denominations that are moving with the "culture".

Hee, please put the word "some" in there when speaking of us Protestants. We aren't all moving with the "culture" here. No more than the whole Catholic church is moving with the liberals within it.

Among liberal Catholics...
Snort. Nice euphemism.
Oxymoron is more fitting.

Conservative yes.
My criticism of him is that he did not support us in Iraq.Big mistake, although I take into account his age. How come its ok to war against the commies and the Nazis but not Sadaam. He missed it big time on this.

"Among liberal Catholics, he was criticized for his strong opposition to abortion, homosexuality and contraception..."

I was just showing what kind of picture they were trying to paint of the Pope. So, if you want the entire thread banned, that might make more sense. But I thought the purpose of this thread was to expose the NYT's media bias.

They are a pile of human excrement, degenerates of the worst kind. They do not deserve to have such a powerful platform from which to spew their marxist ideas....

Hopefully sooner, rather than later, people will cease to pay attention to them.

I thought Fred Barnes was gonna jump him...and even Charles Krauthammer and Chris Wallace were surprised that Kondrake would make that suggestion...

Wish I had seen that.

Darn it! I tried to make clear that I was not refering to those that were not succumbing to "current trends". I'm sorry that I wasn't more clear.

Good news - this is the press squandering any "points" they may have made during the Terri Schiavo coverage.
