Florida's Department of Children and Families had received nearly 90 allegations that Michael Schiavo had abused his wife in recent years - but a Florida judge ruled yesterday that DCF summaries of those allegations must remain secret.

Greer consistently refused to consider evidence of abuse, sealing the report of one investigation by the states Department of Children and Families on the urging of DCF chief counsel, Frank Nagatani, another a financial contributor to Greer.
Judge for yourself (no pun intended)

It bothers me.
Please lead by example and take your own advice.
It should bother any human being with an IQ over room temperature. Take care bud.
Ditto ditto ditto. I am still shocked that they got away with this....and completely disgusted, and angry!
I pray to God that THEY all end up rotting in hospital beds for 15 years.
Oh, it will definitely serve a purpose. It will help in getting inept judges removed who insist on ruling by personal preferences rather then using the rule of law and a bit of common sense.
As far as the "III Waaa" statement, I don't know about the courts, but I heard the lawyer talking about on talk radio within a day or two after it supposedly occured. It wasn't a secret.
Nobody mentioned evidence , just complaints. Probably from the Schindlers the nurses who didnt like him, and others who had nothing else to do except mind someone elses business. I am sure Michael just came to the hospice to beat hell out of Terri, lets not let that stop us, Lets hang him and the Judge and the coroner, and the Docotrs who said she was brain damaged, Lets hang em all and let God sort them out.
Thought I was the only one who thought that way....
Some responses don't need rebuttal. Here there is possible evidence of collusion to obstruct, and this guy doesn't see a need for a public airing of the details. That pretty well stands on it's own as buffoonery of the highest order.
Not so. As long as there is a possibility of foul play, it should be investigated. Hell - Politicians like to launch full blown investigations into nothing just to flesh out any possibility of impropriety (and to point the finger at the other party). Lots of our tax dollars go into these frivolous investigations. Now we have a situation where questions were brought up but not addressed and they want to sweep it away and move on? I don't think so.
Yes, and now, according to some sources, there might even be a teevee movie that makes MS look like a saint for all his "sacrifices." No doubt a book, as well.
This is beyond depressing, first because it looks like he's going to get away with it, and second because now he might get rich from it. Abuse your wife, starve her to death, make a fortune--and the judges won't release the records.
(It was posted on FR last week) that Michael Schiavo was said to have been hired by the outgoing Pinellas County Sheriff as the 'Jail's RN'...
This...While Mikey was under investigation for domestic abuse
crimes against Teri...
Ok, then, so what's wrong with releasing the records? If you're right, Schiavo will be exonerated. If you're not....well, that might explain why they won't release them.
Hmmmm, I wonder why Terri's voiced desire to divorce was not given as much credit as her supposedly 'voiced' desire to off herself by dehydration.
