This is posted as a link on Drudge, but the link doesn't take you anywhere.

If this turns out to be true, how is it possible that not a single person with forewarning of the shooting confided in a parent or a teacher?

Nothing more irritating than a link to where you already are.

I was in on one or two investigations of "fraggings" in Vietnam where a lot of people knew it was going to happen but didn't really think anyone would carry it out. However, someone did. When other people were questioned, it was the old, "My God, he really did it".

He knew about it before it happened before he didn't know about it after it happened.

here's another story that is possibly the root of what drudge has posted

Probe into Red Lake killings looks at possibility of broader attack

BY RUBEN ROSARIO

Knight Ridder Newspapers

ST. PAUL, Minn. - (KRT) - A coordinated attack on targets beyond the Red Lake Senior High School campus may have been planned by Jeff Weise and others, a source familiar with the federal investigation said Tuesday.

The alleged plot under investigation by the FBI was believed to be planned over a period of weeks and included unspecified sites in the community, the source said. Any plot to strike more targets fizzled when the other students either backed out or didn't take Weise's scheme seriously.

Well, investigators have been known to get carried away occasionally.

Arrest them all as accessories and this type of thing will not happen again.

This is an indian reservation...arrest a dozen kids and jail them, and there will be riots.

Indeed, since Red Lake is one of two tribes who never signed away their soverignty, they might seceed and ask Canada to take them.

The answer was that the kids were just talking...probably didn't take him seriously. Mrs. Rogers was quite popular, so I don't think they would have wanted her killed...

Don't do anything, because you can't, especially if you're under 18.

Take a pill, tell a counselor, get a lawyer, or call 911.

Whatever you do, don't act or solve problems without a government-certified liberal moron to guide you.

That is a very thought provoking statement. That would make a nice tag line.
