BALTIMORE -- A Pennsylvania psychologist, who counsels people who want to change their homosexual orientation, has been removed from an advisory board for the nation's largest managed-care behavioral health company.

Grove City College psychology professor Dr. Warren Throckmorton said Thursday that he would like to be reinstated to the National Provider Advisory Council for Magellan Health Services, a Farmington, Conn.-based company that has offices in Columbia, Md.

The pervofascist case crumbles if it becomes known that same-sex attraction disorder is curable.

It's hard to believe tht we've sunk this low as a nation. They want to accept homos but not those who want to help them get out of that deviant lifestyle. UN-believable. (NOT)

Well, yes and no, as illustrated by the joke:

How many psychotherapists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Only one, but the lightbulb really has to want to change.

"Only one, but the lightbulb really has to want to change."

True, and I think that's the most insidious thing about the whole agenda--they convince the ill that their sickness is health, so they won't want to be cured.

Homosexual Agenda Ping. The Homo-Fascism never ends. IM never HO, the "gay" radicals (and remind me again how many of them are conservative, Republican voting, monogamous, family oriented, non-"Gay Pride" attending non-bath house visiting quiet types...) are getting a tad desperate.

They've seen referendum after referendum to allow same sex "marriage" go down in flames, even in the socialist state of Oregon. The most recent opinion poll (CNN, so it certainly isn't biased towards traditional morality) shows MORE Americans disapproving of same sex "marriage".

So they are starting to swing wildly. They are driven, focused, and have tons of money. How can we fight back? Be willing to sacrifice some time, money, a little comfort. Many people just don't want to think about "gays" and what they want, plan and do. It makes them "uncomfortable". Conservatives need a fire in the belly, or we're nothing more than sheep being driven to slaughter.

Let DirtyHarryY2K and me know if you want on/off this pinglist.

Same-sex parents in kids' books

...Keeping an eye on and exposing the homosexual agenda takes loads of time and financial resources, and most parents and other concerned citizens can't do it full time. But the major homosexual organizations can promote their agenda full time because, in addition to taxpayer funding as you pointed out, they are well funded from other sources and have full time staff. And their staff and directors are very well paid. It's their full-time job to promote the homosexual agenda across America - all day, every day:
An excerpt from "GLAAD’s Garry earns top salary among gay leaders - Compensation for heads of 18 national gay groups lower than association ‘median’"

"Joan Garry, executive director of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, had the highest salary among the heads of America’s 18 national gay civil rights organizations with a paid staff in 2002, the latest year for which non-profit groups were required by law to disclose salary information to the IRS and the public.

A survey of salaries of the heads of the 18 groups, conducted by the Washington Blade, shows that that Garry received a 2002 salary of $198,730 and additional benefits of $9,930, for a total compensation package of $208,666...

The 18 national gay groups are among the thousands of non-profit organizations in the United States that must file annual reports with the IRS disclosing financial information, including the salaries of their chief operating officers. The IRS, which grants these organizations an exemption from paying taxes on all of their income, requires the groups to submit the salary and other financial data on an IRS 990 Form, which must also be released to the public upon request...

In 2002, Birch’s $201,486 compensation package came at a time when HRC’s annual revenue was $20.5 million and the group raised an additional $7 million to help pay for a new headquarters building, making HRC by far the nation’s largest gay political group..."

Here are the salaries for 2002 that they have listed for the top officials of the top five homosexual activist organizations ( and since they have great influence in the public schools, the data for PFLAG is also included ):

Organization Annual Revenue Salary | Benefits
Human Rights Campaign/ HRC Foundation $20.5 million $193,513 | $7,973
Lambda Legal Defense & Education Fund $7.6 million $178,500 | $21,834
Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) $4.4 million $198,730 | $9,930
Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) $3.1 million $152,900 | $12,232
National Gay & Lesbian Task Force/ NGLTF Policy Institute $3 million $150,000
Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) $2.6 million $78,317

All of these and other homosexual activist organizations are supported by various corporate sponsors:

An excerpt from "Hurricane GLSEN" by Marc Fey, TownHall.com, September 28, 2003

"It’s not just that they are generously funded, though they certainly are. Revenues for 2001 were $3.35 million, and this year’s conference was liberally supported by Kodak, Levi Strauss, Microsoft, and IBM whose logos were emblazoned on banners, brochures, and conference freebies. For the close to 500 people in attendance, including about 100 junior high and senior high students, the companies hoped to capture this powerful purchasing sector—gays and youth—arguably two of the most powerful buying sectors in America today."

Dr. Throckmorton being silenced is just the latest attack by the homosexual and pro-homosexual activists who have taken over the 'professional' medical and scientific associations.

The infiltration of the 'professional' medical and scientific associations by homosexual activists was ( and continues to be ) part of a well planned and well financed campaign to redefine homosexuality as normal. The campaign began with the infiltration of the American Psychiatric Association, with the goal removing homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

Make no mistake, the homosexual activists knew exactly what they were doing in the days leading up to the removal of homosexuality from the DSM. Once they had control of the American Psychiatric Association, all the other 'professional' organizations ( such as the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Mental Health Association, the AMA , the American Counseling Association, etc.) fell in line and now accept, and march to, the APA's pro-homosexual party line. Click here (then scroll down the page to "The American Academy of Pediatrics") for a list of other pro-homosexual 'professional' associations that toe each others' homosexual agenda lines.

Forcing the removal of homosexuality from the DSM was the homosexual community's greatest achievement. It permitted them to claim that "homosexuality is normal" and set the stage to present this "normalcy" to the general public via a well planned media campaign ( outlined in 'The Overhauling of Straight America' ), and to kids in the public schools via Kevin Jennings' homosexual organization GLSEN. Kids as young as kindergarten age are now being indoctrinated with "homosexuality is normal" propaganda.

It wasn't science, but rather pro-homosexual activism that was, and continues to be, the primary force behind policy changes and the politically correct statments made by the APA and the majority of the other "professional" medical and scientific organizations.

For documentation of homosexual activism in both the APA's and the AAP, see the following replies in scripter's "Homosexual Agenda: Categorical Index of Links (Revision 1.1)" thread:

American Psychological Association: 121, 240, 242, 300, 329, 331, 336, 357, 449, and 503.

American Psychiatric Association: 46, 139, 213, 232, 237, 239, 241, 243, 246, 300, 363, 364, 443, 449, 467, 470, 514, and 524.

American Academy of Pediatrics: 284

Is pensylvania a right to work state?

Could it be this HMO does not want to PAY MONEY for therapy? That they have made a decision that curing homosexuals is not as cost effective as burrying them?

The council has representatives from the major behavioral health disciplines and advises the company on treatment issues, the spokeswoman said.

An advocacy group for former homosexuals, meanwhile, said the decision by Magellan "underscores the need for Congress to pass a resolution supporting tolerance for former homosexuals and their supporters."

Regina Griggs, executive director of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays, said "Magellan should not receive Medicaid or other federal moneys if it continues to discriminate against the ex-gay community. The government cannot allow Magellan to continue to discriminate against the ex-gay community."

Follow the money. I think an examination of the cost benefit analysis is in order. Imagine if homosexuality is deemed a treatable addiction (or whatever word you may choose) not unlike smoking? Imagine an HMO having the ability to say that they don't cover the consequeces of homosexual behavior? Are other STD's covered by HMO's? Can an HMO refuse to cover STD's other than AIDS?

as always follow the money of whose OX is gored.

Ya know, I'm realizing more and moer ways that we could increase jobs in the US.

1) Drill in ANWAR. Can't help but need more people then.

2) Get to a universal sales tax. Financial advisors will got bonkers trying to advise people on how to properly invest the extra cash-flow.

3) Get rid of the homosexual-agenda (and all other PC nonsense). Allow psychologists to get on with their jobs.

All of these mean "Less government" and should be the focus of the Republican movement.
