"I don't blame him for that decision. Since Terri's private situation was whipped up by the Schindlers into a "cause celebre", her burial place would become a pilgrimage site if it were known."
Good point. Don't know what went on between the families, but their ticked big time.
It would be a shame if they couldn't finally find peace between themselves...particularly as time passes and perhaps moves from the national spotlight.
true
Peace with who, the murderer of their daughter?
peace with michael when those demons from hell needlessly killed their daughter? like they just need to "come to grips" that they've been wrong all this time to try to save Terri? hahahahahaha.
The Schindlers are, to their credit, putting this evil event in the context of their faith in God. In their remarks yesterday, Bobby and Suzanne called for a Christlike attitude in all this injustice, and decried all violence or calls to violence. Contrast that w/felos' rant against them yest. pm, 3-4 times railed against that *awful* Father Pavone, against Bobby for wanting to protect and be with his sister when she died, INSTEAD OF 1) felos 2) debra bushnell 3) hospice administrator 4) other hospice workers 5) but HEY! no policemen, that would not have been proper! Oh, yeah, and detailed what was happening to Terri's body over her last days and hours. Do you not see through the OM, the culture of death spin?
The Schindlers have been decent throughout, offered to take Terri no strings, no $$ attached, all they wanted was their daughter, and let michael go on his way (that's what they had in mind when they encouraged him to date). When I first met them 18 mos ago, it was apparent to me that michael is a spoiled brat, a bully, a thug, and is intent on creating as much chaos and grief in their lives as he can.
