Michael Will Hide Where Terri Schiavo is Buried From Family

Pinellas Park, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Michael Schiavo plans to keep the location of where he will bury Terri Schiavo's ashes a secret and will prevent Terri's family from knowing. His brother told the media on Thursday that Terri's family would show up and cause a spectacle if they found out.

"If Mike knew they would come in peace, he would have no problem with it," Scott Schiavo, Michael Schiavo's brother, told AP.

A complete autopsy will be performed on Terri's body by the local county medical examiner's office. Once that is completed, Michael plans to have Terri's body cremated and her ashes buried in Pennsylvania.

Scott told the Associated Press the ashes will be buried in a burial plot left to Michael by an aunt and uncle.

"We've already said goodbye," Bobby Schindler said when asked about not knowing where his sister would be buried.

Concerning Michael's latest decision snubbing his family, Bobby said, "He's been doing this kind of stuff for 15 years. What would make him stop now?"

Terri's parents fought for years to stop the cremate, citing Terri's Catholic religious beliefs, and asked Judge George Greer to allow Terri to be buried in Florida, closer to her family. Greer declined both requests.

Terri's parents and her family did not discuss the burial issue during their remarks to the media following Terri's death. However, Paul O'Donnell, a Franciscan monk who has been helping the family during the last two weeks, said they would hold a Catholic mass for Terri even though they will not have her body present.

The mass will take place sometime next week.

A spokesman for the Pinellas County medical examiner's office said Terri's body would be given to Michael on Friday for the cremation process to begin.

The autopsy on Terri's body may yield a preliminary look in two to three days but the office will not have final results for two to three weeks.

He just keeps piling on the moves. If there is one iota of truth to anything he's said, he's certainly gone a long way to make it seem untrue. And just when you think he can't sink any lower, he manages to slither down a notch.

Perfect description of what's happening.

Maybe, someday, we'll hear more about his stalker days, too.

c)broken right thigh

From my understanding her femur was broken in the mid region of the bone. Very suspect because of the location, very well may have been due to blunt trauma.

This Glaser guy is an idiot. First off he says his wife was "dying in a hospice" - meaning obviously that she had a terminal illness and was not going to live. Terri's case is different. Why can't people get that through their heads???? Terri was NOT TERMINALLY ILL!!! She was BRAIN DAMAGED!! When people say, "why couldn't the parents just let her go?" that is a ridiculous statement. It's not like turning off the respirators and "letting someone go" and they die within minutes. Terri wasn't READY TO GO. She wasn't DYING until they DEHYDRATED her to death. My God, what is wrong with people?

There are several key distinctions here. First off, as another poster pointed out, Terri was not dying. Very different from this man's wife, who (it seems) had a terminal illness of some sort.

No matter what, I had to think about all the talks we had about her dying. I was lucky, because no one protested her wishes.

Not surprising that they discussed Charmaine's wishes due to her illness. The fact that no one protested suggests that there was no serious dispute as to the extent of her wishes. Given the time, she may well have put them in writing or otherwise memorialized them in some way. In Terri's case, the only evidence of her wishes was the testimony of her husband. To suggest there is some question as to his credibility or the weight that should be given to his assertions would be an understatement.

Consider: 1. Terri was a practicing Catholic, whose faith abhors this outcome; 2. Michael testified in the malpractice suit that he would always care for Terri, and requested funds based on a life expectancy of forty to fifty years; 3. Michael made no mention of these wishes on Terri's parts until several years had elapsed; 4. there was at least one other witness (a friend of Terri's) who testified that Terri's wishes would be to live (testimony that was erroneously excluded by Judge Greer); 5. Michael had a clear conflict of interest-- even if you don't consider the allegations of trouble in the marriage, he had a new "wife" in all but name and two children-- no lawyer would be permitted to represent someone with a conflict of interest like that.

Michael Schiavo tried for several years to rehabilitate his wife, even taking her to California for an experimental brain treatment, but nothing worked.

It is my understanding that all treatment terminated upon receipt of the malpractice award. At the time he sought the award, it would be in Michael's interest to pursue aggressive therapy, thereby supporting his argument that he needed a lot of money to care for Terri. It supports his damage claim. In the malpractice suit, he certainly doesn't want to be asked, "How much do you need for her care?" and have to answer, "Well, not much, she isn't getting any therapy and she wants to die anyway." So you have to weigh the aggressive therapy with that in mind, particularly given its abrupt termination.

CNN reported that Terri Schiavo’s husband Michael was with her when she died.

And yet he excluded her birth family. Why? Michael, after all, has built his entire claim on Terri's supposed unconscious state. Her parents believed she was aware of their presence; Michael vehemently disagreed. Would it not have been more consistent, and kinder, to let her spend her last moments with those who believed it would make a difference?

This article is drastically different from Terri's situtation. The author had a wife who was terminally ill, had plenty of opportunity to fully express and even memorialize her wishes, and he had no conflict of interest of the magnitude Michael Schiavo had.

Finally, you noted “… along with the privilege of free speech comes the responsibility to respect the rights of others. Please remember to use courtesy when posting, refrain from personal attacks and do not use profane or obscene language.”

Given that reminder, I was surprised by your comments accompanying this article. You opened by directing your post in the hope that there is "one human being out there with something resembling a mind," and closing by saying, "With people like you to represent the soi-dissant "conservative viewpoint", it is no wonder that most Americans are sick to death of politics...." Not sure I'd call that courteous, but I guess opinions differ.

I wonder if previous girlfriends would talk. Maybe they are scared? I truly believe one day his live-in will speak up about him, if she lives.

Meanwhile, the adulterous "husband" and his whore, along with their illegitimate children, the delusional nutjob, Felos, the false witnesses whose hearsay evidence sealed her fate and the judge who handed down the death sentence are all welcome.

This is one of America's saddest days.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight! Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine And valiant men in mixing strong drink, Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!" (Isaiah 5-20-23)

Even her own parents recognized she was "injured" and apparently in a PVS state up until 2 or 3 years ago.

No, they have never acknowledged that she was in a PVS. The PVS thing came up one time in a court hearing years ago in front of Greer and, despite a number of other doctors, including highly regarded neurologists, testifying to the contrary, this is the only thing that Greer heard. He has suppressed the mountains of data to the contrary that Terri was not PVS and has clung to this one doctor's "diagnosis" all these years.

Most people I know think Terri was on life support and was going to die anyway. They just don't believe she could eat and drink with assistance.

Most people were misinformed because their understanding of Terri came from the MSM's propaganda.

her burial place would become a pilgrimage site if it were known.

Who says the public needs to know......and who is harmed if the parents do ?

His spirit is just plain cruel and self serving

Yes to both your statements.

EXCERPTS FROM CYNTHIA SHOOK MAY 8, 2001 DEPOSITION

...1½ years after Terri’s collapse, Michael Schiavo became involved in an intimate relationship with Cindy Shook. The romance continued for approximately one year. It can be documented that the two spent a weekend at the Don Caesar hotel in St. Petersburg Beach and they also contacted a Century 21 Realtor on the premise of purchasing a home.

In April 2001, Cindy Shook (married name Brasher) was interviewed by an investigator working in Terri’s behalf.  Unwilling to come forward because of her immense fear of Schiavo,Cindy had to be subpoenaed and was then subsequently deposed on May 8, 2001 to try and learn more regarding her intimate knowledge of Michael Schiavo’s character traits. ...

he’s very jealous. He stalked me at my…at where I worked after I stopped dating…when he would get mad at me he would tell me, I would rather be laying in bed in the nursing home with her than with you. I mean he can be the most incredibly mean person" [snip],

"I am concerned about retaliation because I have a child -I have children and a husband. I know him, I know what he told me I said he could be a very mean person."

"I hope that isn't true. It will take more than one day to do all the tests needed."

As I mentioned a few days ago before Terri's imminent death, the coroner will do a quick check on the brain and declare that she, in fact, did have brain damage and then close the books. Unless an independant, out-of-state coroner is asked to do a thorough autopsy, the questions regarding broken bones, etc... will always be there. It is my contention that Michael Schiavo was an abusive husband who tried to kill his wife. Now that the attorney, Felos, is complicit in her murder as well as Judge Greer, they will expedite this autopsy and cremate Terri's remains ASAP.

The clue? They said that the autopsy will be today but the results will not be known for a couple of weeks? C'mon, get real...

Felos was just on Fox and Friends. In response to E.D. Hill's question asking him if the Schindlers would be told where Terri's remains will be buried, he said yes - that that question was settled in the court just before the feeding tube was removed.

E.D. Hill told him that it was all over the internet that he was a member of The Hemlock Society and asked him if he had any comment on that. He said even though he had spoken to that group in the past, he was not a member. He said, "I don't know where they got that."

I'm glad he's on videotape admitting that he spoke before this group. This is just the beginning drip, drip, drip of the connections" he will be having to admit that he has to death and dying / euthansia groups.

Oh, no, he was a stalker, too? Why doesn't that surprise me? And I thought I'd read all about him, that's a new one to me. I have a feeling when (if?) the truth comes out, many of us here won't be surprised, but a lot of other people will.
