So I'm thinking of e-mailing the Devil himself Skinner and challenging him to let me on there to defend myself. Good idea? Bad idea?

I'd ignore them, trying to defend yourself against ignorant savage children is pointless...
They just want attention.

Just tell him he's great at giving himself an eye witness colonoscopy and then watch his head explode as he tries to figure out what that means.
Don't argue with idiots...after time no one will know who is who.

I say bad idea. Who cares what they think TX. They are only going to say hateful stupid things to you and get you upset.
They are our enemy- I know it hurts that they also happen to be Americans.
There is nothing you will say to any of them that will change their minds-why set yourself up? Why waste your time and energy on them?
Try to remember: There but for the grace of God go I. Hang out with the people who are thankful for you and our troops.
There are more of us than there are of them.

Hi Tx... I noticed you're the only one who signed their real name...
Can you play "You've Been Freeped" over the radio? With a dedication?

It won't happen. I'd copy the worst of the worst to
Stars and Stripes, along with the initial thread and perhaps their "which is worse, 9/11 or 11/02?" poll.
If Google is "their friend", how come our threads are always near the top of the search results, while theirs are near the articles that need to be translated from Korean?

I'd say leave it alone. Look at the audience you'd be talking to. If they could be persuaded by reason or facts they'd already be on your side.

First, go talk to the JAG and get some legal advice. Since they're spamming your email account, you need to ensure you don't use it to reply--then they could say you're abusing government resources. Also, as active duty, you have to watch it on some political stuff. They may be trying to get you to break some rule, etc.

I agree, when surrounded by the enemy, there is only one military option:
ATTACK!
Kick them in the balls. And when they beg for mercy, cut them off.
GI, remember what you were trained when you first joined this proud organization. Never, ever, allow the enemy to get the high ground.
However, if you are unable to handle a few cowardly Socialists, then I would highly advise that you never enter into combat.

Geez, those folks sure aren't very tolerant of divergent views. I don't have any advice, just offer all the support I can give. HUGS!
I'm thinking that arguing with these idiots is "Casting your pearls before swine" and you know what the Bible says about that.

Reply to each:
"Thank you for sharing that" and nothing more. That tends to end most unpleasant conversations.

While I would advise you against it, if you choose to engage the DUmmies on their own turf, it would come in handy as training for sewer warfare.
Just make sure you have all of your vaccinations up to date. You're liable to catch something Ajax won't scrub off.
Personally, I wouldn't give those scumbags air in a bottle, but thats just me.

dont email skinner.
If you are recieving unsolicited hate mail from the DUmmies to a government account, they are committing a felony.
Although the legal buttheads may not do anything, you should be able to foward the most offensive emails to your comm folks and get the offending email domains blocked from your base, and if offensive enough from Army or Dod.
Sending unsolicited spam is now a felony. It's the same for offensive/harrassing emails.
When they send emails to a goverment computer system it ties up resources better used for official business.
You should be able to resolve this with your local comm folks.

There isn't actually a great deal of "debate" on DU, certainly not if you have the temerity to hold an opinion contrary to that of the party line
du jour. If their letters sound alike it's because they're nothing but an insignificant mob of goose-steppers so immersed in groupthink that an original thought hits the place like a garlic suppository at a vampire proctology clinic.
After a certain point it becomes electronic harrassment, however, and a nice note to the DU sysop to that effect may help matters a little. But children determined to play in their own poo will find a way to do so.
