My father's aunt had Polio she was one of those killed in the Nazi effort to eliminate life unworthy of life. Others died as well in the camps I have had rather heated debates with people who insist that my family must be Jewish if we had relatives who died in the camps. Not that I think being Jewish is a bad thing- not at all. But the lack of education on the history of Nazi Germany's march to the Holocaust is reason the pro death crowd have been succesful in pushing their agenda.
But apparently you are not.
Thank you for this jewel of a post. I will keep it in my arsenal.
Oh, oh, oh. Call on me. I know why.
Because the scientologists have taken over the bodies of the Florida state insurance commissioners. Right?
Wait a minute ... Let me think about that.
It's entirely appropriate to consider Nazi-like any person who supported disallowing water and food to Terri.
Yep the fruits of Eugenics is Terri Schiavo's death.
Like I said many times now, if we allow individual cases like these to draw our attention and resources away from the rest of the world, we are guilty of negligence and have failed our duty to preserve life. It's one thing to learn from individual cases it's another thing entirely to exclude them.
How do you equate the defense of the Judeo Christian ethic for life with Muslim terrorism? Muslim Terrorists believe that Jews, any supporters of Israeli statehood, people who speak out for woman's equality and Muslims who support a secular government are enemies of Allah and deserve to die. Not only that but to kill such infidels is a matter of pride and assurance of future glory. We who defended Terri believe that every human life is worthy of dignity and a gift of God. If the killing of Terri at the bequest of her husband and sanctioned by judicial fiat is a private matter so is every other domestic crime. One of the stated and right purposes of Gov't is the protection of life.
Do they get money from Felos?
Thank you for opening this scientology nexus up. FReepers?

The Rule of Terri's Case Strikes Again. -2004- Judge Greer's crimes
If I were to apply my "credentials" to support my views on the Schiavo case et. al. it would indeed have been an appeal to authority fallacy. However, there is no such fallacy presenting such evidence directly against the charge that I need more training in logic. I thought it was clear that I was doing so.
Similarly, I will grant you that if your assertion about TerriRepublic hysteria, was not intended to support "letting Terri die" et. al. then there was no ad homonym fallacy.
Since you maintain it was not, so be it. Its certainly not worth arguing about at this point.

The lunatics are now in charge. All hail the lunatics.
Murderers.
I did not say that. You know that.
However, it is clear that as you point out, the Scientologists ARE linked to Greer, Felos, etc.
Many were not aware of that.
Don't bother reading the sites you refer folks to, eh?
ANDRE LENOGE: "Where was Congress? Where were the Senators?
Nobody knows. Their chambers were empty. No one was there.
There has only been only one case like this in all of American history.
That was Roanoke Island [North Carolina] in 1587 when everyone disappeared. Every man, woman and child.
Hope is dimming for the missing residents of the US Congress
but .... there is word carved on the wall of the Senate Chamber, "Croaton".
No one knows what it means. Maybe its a place favored for pork? No one knows.
But I do know one thing. Congress will ALL need to be replaced in the next election."
Ping.
So youre advocating murdering THEM?? Yeah, seeing local police battle it out with national guard troops *really* would have helped....not.
