LIFE is the HIGHEST cause and the GREATEST value. The damage that will be done to this country because THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH REFUSED to rescue Terri is going to be far GREATER than any damage that would have been done had they rescued her. The Bush brothers missed an EXCELLENT opportunity to STAND UP to ROGUE Judges (who are the MOST CULPABLE in this scenario) and the DEATH CULTURE. And this country is going to SUFFER the consequences.

Everyone needs to understand something (though I doubt they will). At best, Bush could have delayed Terri's death and only done so at the cost of great political capital. Because he is subject only to the rulings of the Supreme Court, he could have sent federal marshals to enforce the reinsertion of the tube. At that point, the case would certainly have been accepted by the USSC, which most certainly would have ruled against Bush. So, Bush gets a bloody nose and Terri dies anyway.
