Need I remind everyone of Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment! "Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican."

"and not insult people with such terms"
But it is alright if you insult the intelligence of all the legal staff advising Jeb Bush however.
To: TAdams8591
Talk is CHEAP! And you are on a spending spree with your irrational rants blaming GW and Jeb Bush for Terri's death, instaed of the culture of death and the courts.

Good for you! I think we should all "shut up", should have done it long before now. Or if self restraint is simply not possible, at least we should realize our oft-repeated, over the top hyperbolic spew, while self-gratifying, is not going to win hearts or change minds.

I am reminded of the same things being said on different issues like the 2000 election when Pres Bush was running, California Recall, etc. Third party people stirring the pot it looks like to me aka Buchananites, Libertarians, etc. not to mention the trolls from the left. I agree with you. It's been said that the political spectrum isn't linear, but circular. And I think you just proved it.

Amen!!!
It may sound insensitive at this time, but your statement is 100% tagline material.

I hate to say it, but there will never be another Bush elected anywhere, ever. After a brief statement on "culture of life", President Bush is standing next to Chuck Robb talking about intelligence failures now. This is not the time to try to change the subject. Governor Bush's statement was equally weak. What a shame, leadership is needed. The ball has been dropped and they will not recover from this.

It would have been Janet Reno and her jackbooted thugs, redux.
Would you say that if they were starving Elian Gonzales to death inside of that house?

The attorney general had no authority in this matter. It is utterly ridiculous to slam Gonzalez for not getting involved in the Schiavo matter, and referring to his ethnic background smacks of racism.

Do not take this wrong. I just heard on a comparative psychological study of Stalin and Hitler last night that when things got tough for the germans on the eastern front Hitler was so obsessed with wiping out jews that he refused to divert any death trains to help supply the wehrmacht. It occurred to me then that in one sense it could be viewed that the deaths of the jews helped the war effort by preventing resupply of the army. Small, cold, comfort.
Please don't be offended, I guess I just see it as an example of how a little bit of good can come from anything, even the most awful things.
I am pretty sure my Jewish namesakes and ancestors died in the holocaust as my name is unusual and I cannot find anyone with it in Europe.

Polls. Approval ratings. No matter. To be honest, even with all the blatant politicizing and reckless media attention that has been given to this case in the
final month or so of its total 15 years, I don't think anybody will feel too much of a political backlash.
Sad to say, but if many have already forgotten about 9/11, her memory doesn't have a chance.

"They would have gone in with the military if necessary and killed anyone who stood in their way." You mean like Bush did in Iraq on what now appears to be very bad intelligence?
