Another thread says that Planned Parenthood sent an email out asking that the six Republicans who vote against the Senate bill that would have kept Terri alive be 'thanked'.
Can anyone tell me the names of the six Senators they listed?
'Subhuman', yes, we'll hear that term tossed around before long, as well as the 'productive person', 'quality of life' (listed under 'quality time', one supposes.) Trendy catch phrases, euphemisms to cover the unpleasant. I really loathe these people. No morals, just ruthless narcissism. And yes, I blame the Clintons for starting us down this primrose path.
Keep me posted private mail. My prayers are with you, hope things are ok. 'night.
Hugs,
Ari
Me? My, that one vote of mine went a lot further than I thought it did.
Oh, no. Not "me" - WE. And "we" includes you, my friend, so don't think you can absolve yourself by railing on about conspiracies imposed from above. We are responsible, you as much as any of us. Politics hasn't failed, but the quickest way to make it fail is to abandon it in the belief that you can't really do anything because some mysterious "elite" is pushing you in directions you don't want to go.
I go to work at 7am, and didn't see she'd died til late morning. When I saw the subheadline on Foxnews.com that her parents weren't allowed in, that just broke my heart further. As a parent I cannot imagine it.
Frustration with our side??? Tough pill to swallow, this. I truly looked for Jeb Bush to ride in on a white horse, then attempt to initiate impeachment proceedings on judge Death ;^) I believe a showdown was called for in this sad situation, but the good guys were all trying to work within a broken system. By blinking, Jeb Bush only prolonged the day of reckoning. I would rather it have been sooner rather than later, but that's just me.
Still here Mud; thanks for caring ;^)
The forum seems to be doing just fine in my absence. I was pretty much compelled to be away for most of a month with company(grandkids and stuff), and some other things popped up that required some attention. Besides, it was about time for my hiatus anyway. I've found the longer I'm away from FR, the easier it is to stay away and God knows I have spent way too much time on FR. I do check in from time to time, but I'm really gonna try to spend more time away. These piney woods need me too.

And they got it - neither Whittemore or the 11'th found due process violations. What Congress should have done is mandated injunctive relief - that would have put the tube back in pending a full-blown rehearing at the federal level. But they didn't. They could have saved her, and they didn't.
Or perhaps judges should bring forward guardianship cases once they've been filed. This judge sat on that case for over two years. It was filed in Nov. 2002.
I listened to Rush this morning. He was excellent!! He described that lawyer to a tee, calling him a cultist of death, which is precisely what he is.
You are kidding. Jeb is afraid of George W. Greer. What other explanation is there? Or is he afraid to uncover the corruption that is Pinellas County?
Did he really sit on it, or is that pretty typical for that area? Genuine question here - no tricks, etc.
When I paid my first visit to court years ago, I was shocked. The level of legal competence was somewhere down in the cellar and most of the lawyers looked and acted like parasites feeding off society's most vulnerable. The judges were marginally more intelligent, but bored stiff. Half the time they didn't bother to go over the cases. Clerks did the work, and the older judges, well, unbelievable...practically senile. Ah, the great state of MA.
He is afraid of Greer and doesn't want to get into the corruption of Pinellas County! He knows it will get messy and he'd rather not make it a big mess and walk away from it.
Secularists are in jubilation, screaming from the top of their joyous voices, Terri's dead, Terrie's dead, praise Lucifer Terri's dead.
God, please forgive me for the great dislike that is building in my heart for these people.
Please ping me or Diva Betsy Ross to be on the NOC (Nuclear Option Committee) Activism list to carry the judiciary fight forward.
Answer me this...Aren't the liberal courts getting away with the very same thing that Jack "Dr. Death" Kevorkian is in prison for?
Maybe people don't get prosecuted for attempted suicide, but the threat of prosecution is made to force the person into psychiatric treatment.
Laws and sausages, my friend ;)
This case reminds me of the Biblical injustices which happened to Urriah, Naboth, and even Christ. I am not lifting her up to the diety of Christ, but she was plainly murdered by injustice! That is, The Law was misused against her by those in power to abuse it. The only good news is that, whenever abuse at this level of corruption is committed, God always exacted His Judgement upon those who abused His authority. Gods Justice and His law does not change! His mercy IS everlasting, His Grace has no limit, His love has no boundry, but His Law is EXACT!!! Those who abused His authority will be held accountable, wether it be in this life or the next!
