We say, sentence carried out! Just like for Terri. Sentence carried out.
*bump*
Yes, and I believe they are emotional responses to an outcome that none of us wanted to see happen...to try and lay this at the feet of the Executive/Legislative Branches is absurd!!
This was a JudicialBranch-ordered MURDER of an innocent American citizen!!

I just want to take a moment and thank you for all the posts. You and many others I know who fought the good fight in the meat world are in my prayers today.
Terri finally rests in peace. I pray that you are not discouraged and that you find some solace in knowing that your hard work and her suffering have done much to awaken the hearts and minds of many.
My Dad has a quote he uses for days like today:
"I am wounded but not yet slain.
I shall lie me down to bleed a while
Then rise to fight again."
I cannot tell you how sorry I am for Terri's family, friends and all those who fought so hard to save her life.
Know that it was not in vain.

joanie-f,Thank you for the ping.
Does anyone else here think Terri's brother could be a double for Ben Stiller?
Amen...MUD
I will be posting your thoughts as an article on my nobody visits web site, once I upgrade my server. Hope that is OK.
thanks so very much for your kind words & hug -- I cannot tell you how much that means. Terri's death is just the beginning, yet another shot across the bows for those who have eyes to see it.
I'm not really sure what you are trying to say (and have often privately referred to you as the Obtuse Genie), but I will agree with you that unrestricted access to abortion at any time prior to the water breaking, has definitely cheapened life. I use to deny it, but the results are very apparant: Life is becoming cheaper. Humans are becoming more expendable. This is the status-quo in some of the countries / regions I've visited -- Russia and Southeast Asia to name two -- but it's disturbing that we are going DOWN to (for example) Russia's level, instead of bringing them up to ours.
Like I mentioned on another thread, if the congress walks away from this with their tails between their legs...all of us are through. Under our constitution, the congress has the power to curb and control judicial activism. It could be brought under control with a few judicial impeachments!!! Give them their pink slips.

I would wait on statements from them on what they want in that regard, but you can find their address online.
I'd love to see the proof that Stakka Skynet has which implicates a FReeper for putting that blog up. Wouldn't you? Or do you just believe it because he/she says so?
My God ... can you not have a day's respect for the dead?
Your image is not only in bad taste, it's particularly heinous and misleading given the fact that George W. Bush signed off on the Futile Care Law which empowered spouses with sole discretion to starve their failing spouses in Texas.
"much frothing and foaming at the mouth. Pure demagoguery and mindless emotion."
Sounds like you're describing yourself Walkin Dude....
I don't answer to LIARS.
You obviously have no answers either. Where are your supportive arguments to his/her claims?
I am 46 years old and have been married for 27 years. I had never discussed this subject with my wife until the last month or so because of all the publicity surrounding the Shiavo case. Since neither of us had ever had a relative or friend in this situation, the subject just never came up.
This is a beautiful post, well written. Thank you for taking time to compose it. Pray for our country!
Thank you Mel Gibson for your great words of truth and wisdom!!
