I think many in the GOP have been trying to do things, but sadly, not enough. However, the reason Jesse drew attention was because the left (read media) loves him and was surprised by his reaction, not because he was the only one speaking out. The press just ignored the others.

I never trust Jessie Jacksons motives, but he did seem to bring some comfort to the family and he did get the facts of the case past the MSM filter. I will give Jessie credit, he knows an evil injustice when he sees one.
