What a great town to set up the staging from. "Tombstone" was an awesome movie too.

Some fear bloodshed in border watch projectSome news outlets try to make something they don't like seem as bad as possible with their headline selection.

They are merely undocumented border patrol agents.

Bloodshed has already occurred on the border even before the Minutemen kick off their project.

Marilynn Slade, Tombstone's city clerk, said the more attention drawn to illegal immigration, the better. "The vast majority of the people feel that the feds should be dealing more aggressively with the problem," she said. "There's a huge, huge cry down here."That "cry" can be heard all over California and I'll wager other states as well.

Giant speakers facing Mexico playing Halloween spooky sounds full blast.
Might make them turn and run with that alone.

I was thinking that armed remote surveillance/attack aircraft would be helpful too.

Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever said he fears immigrant smugglers might open fire on the volunteers.
"I wouldn't anticipate that people of that persuasion would act or react any differently to anybody, citizen or law enforcement alike, if they were confronted and felt like their cargo was in jeopardy," he said.
What irks me is the business as usual approach by the "professionals".

Typical Houston Chronicle crap.

Well, the mayor and city clerk are happy the MMP will be there.
Looks like only the MSM and ACLU are upset.

The Minutemen are just doing what no branch of the Federal Government is willing to do.
President Bush should suggest legislation to give them all a "Guest" Border Patrol Agent permit.

I like Tombstone, especially that Bird House Theater. Must have been quite a joint in its day.

"They are merely undocumented border patrol agents," (cotton1706 5) doing jobs the Government doesn't want to do.
Sounds good to me! ;-)
