The human race is living beyond its means. A report backed by 1,360 scientists from 95 countries - some of them world leaders in their fields - today warns that the almost two-thirds of the natural machinery that supports life on Earth is being degraded by human pressure.
The study contains what its authors call "a stark warning" for the entire world. The wetlands, forests, savannahs, estuaries, coastal fisheries and other habitats that recycle air, water and nutrients for all living creatures are being irretrievably damaged. In effect, one species is now a hazard to the other 10 million or so on the planet, and to itself.
"Human activity is putting such a strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planet's ecosystems to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted," it says.

OK. Man has been around for 2+ million years. That means it will take another 4 million years to use-up the rest. Hard to lose sleep over.

How come these Europeans are using up so much land? They cut all the trees, they bombed 80% of their homeland into mud, they used up resources on wars for over 700 years, they have had to rebuild over and over again as they killed and bombed each other. And now they say the human race is using up the resources.
Bull Crap. Another lie from the left-wing fascist who would move us all into boxes and deny us freedom.

No doubt Paul Erlich, the author of The Population Bomb in the '60 is one of these world leaders. Except that Paul did not believe we would make it to the year 2000.

Interesting more than 10 times as many scientists have signed a letter disputing "global warming" and it is ignored.

This is the same recycled predictions from the doom-and-gloom crowd, proven false over and over again.
Btw, the greatest world resource is humanity, and there are plenty of humans around.
