Doesn't mean his voice ought to be rejected.

It makes me so disgusted when I hear people bashing JJackson who from the beginning said this was wrong. Now he is there and everyone is hateful about him.

Seems if people are behind this cause and it is vital, they ought to be grateful for support from whatever quarter and NOT BE LOOKING GIFT HORSES IN THE MOUTH.

"Seems if people are behind this cause and it is vital, they ought to be grateful for support from whatever quarter and NOT BE LOOKING GIFT HORSES IN THE MOUTH."

Right, and there's no reason to credit Attila the Hun if he happens to help you for whatever reason that has nothing to do with you. We can just accurately say what's going on:

"A scumbag wants to defend her too."

If Gotti or Felos or bin Laden wants to defend her, then I'd say, "Even Mass Murderer and terrorist leader, bin Laden, wants her to live." I'd kill bin Laden first chance, but if he wants to chime in, I'd quote him.

Simple.

Please don't take me wrong. I am in total agreement with you. We need all the help we can get and are grateful for everyone. That includes Clinton and Jackson.

A question was asked however. That question was ~

"Why at this late stage (when it might be too late) do these people suddenly decide to join the cause for saving Terri?"

I think the reasons are perfectly summed up in the following quote from Mark Twain.

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated, and scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, for then it cost nothing to be a patriot. -- Mark Twain

Gather she was not Clinton-'ripe' enough before.

======= TRUE TALES FROM "x42 ON THE MAKE" ======

At a Connecticut fundraiser in the spring of 1996, X42 made a "crack"
about a five-hundred-year-old Inca mummy that had just been discovered, at the summit of a Peruvian volcano.
"You know, if I were a single man, I might ask that mummy out," Clinton said. "That's a good-looking mummy."
