Did anybody catch the 2 Michael Schiavo "supporters" on H&C tonight? They were a couple of typical hippie-hags from the far left, who said they went to Florida to counter-demonstrate against the Terri Schiavo supporters, who they called "religious Nazis". Colmes grovelled and slobbered all over them, but Hannity's first question, directed to one of the hags, was, "What does that say on your shirt?". She replied, "Revolutionary Communist Youth League". Brilliant, Alan, just brilliant.
Amputations???
Right, the liberal right to life movement was busy.
BTW, where you'd manage to find a keyboard with a sneer button on it?
the show should be properly called "HANNITY & BONES"
Nominations through unimpeded? The judges haven't gone through unimpeded since 2001; that's not going to change now.
And much as I dislike the judges, the activist judges, the Democrats are going to use this, big time. The Democrats were worried that the president was going to appoint judges who were "too conservative" before.
Now all the Democrats have to do is send out e-mails to their constituents asking them to write letters and demand that various conservative appointments don't get through because the Rats will whip people up saying "do you want what happened in FL to happen here" sort of rhetoric. And you know what...it will work.
I am the most conservative person I've ever met (LOL) and I think the actions of the people protesting and the movement behind it has shown themselves to be so single minded as to be uncaring of anything and anyone but THEIR agenda. The dying people in the Hospice be dam*ed.
"Yelling into bullhorns all hours while people who have raised children, worked hard all their lives, and are now dying, can't even get a good night's sleep."
Are you old enough to remember when America couldn't get any sleep....due to the gunfire killing the Medger Evers, and white social workers and other "harassers" of the Klan and white racists groups?? And those bullhorns and marches!! They had absolutely no respect for those of us "trying to sleep".....while Rosa Parks was ordered to the back of the bus and young black men hung from the nearest tree....for supposedly flirting with a "white girl". Shame on them for disturbing our sleep!!!!!
All you have to do is type the words "Randall Terry" and the *sneer* is automatically formatted by Windows XP; even it knows.
He may be speaking out, but if he's on MSNBC, nobody's hearing him.
Randall is on MSNBC right now, speaking out for conservatives!
To what end do we demand she live thru any more invasions of her body.
I would love to see them live in Cuba and told they couldn't leave the country...
I help a PVS patient everyday....she's my sister. So please forgive me for the hand wringing.
ha ha ha
After my tonsilectomy in a few weeks, I'll be 4 for 4 on that list too.
Will you at least let me have some water?
Feeding tubes are removed from PVS and other people in America every day of the week. If you don't like it, work to change the law.
Comparing this as others do to the Holocaust and the Civil Rights movements demeans both and is not an apt analogy.
The face of compassionate conservatism has been hurt by this. If I feel this way as the most conservative person you can possibly imagine, then we can bet the farm that moderates and Democrats are gleeful, although I understand that SOME of the reaction has crossed party lines.
Plus Terri's parents paid their rent didn't they? It would appear they were comfortable enough financially to do that. This is very complicated.

Well, you do have a point there. :-)
Actually, I think somebody blows a whistle and they all change seats.

Ray (M.A.; Ph.D.) The Demand for Explanation Now that more than 50 years have passed since the military defeat of Nazi Germany, one might have thought that the name of its leader would be all but forgotten. This is far from the case, however. Even in the popular press, references to Hitler are incessant and the trickle of TV documentaries on the Germany of his era would seem to be unceasing. Hitler even featured on the cover of a 1995 Time magazine. This finds its counterpart in the academic literature too.... |
