My grandson just finished boot camp up at Great Lakes. He's on his way to submariners school in Connecticut.
Thank God this country still has young men and women like these, who volunteer to keep us all safe.

Two of my brothers were sailors and a third Air Force career. My dad was a WWII vet Army Air and father-in-law WWII vet Army.
This great generation of patriots is passing day by day and we pay no attention to that. These are truly deaths to be lamented and our nation's loss great. Deaths those who stood to sacrifice all for our Nation.
But our attention is elsewhere.
The love of my highschool years graduated from Great Lakes. It was so hot that the boys lined up in formation were dropping like flies. God bless this fine young man, Arlen, his Dad and Mom who raised him, and all who serve with him.
Thank your grandson for his service for me.
