Death Is Beautiful? Possibly the creepiest moment in the Terri Schiavo saga came Saturday afternoon, when George Felos, Michael Schiavo's lawyer, appeared at a press conference without his client. Felos described having visited Mrs. Schiavo, who at that point had gone eight days without food and water. "Frankly when I saw her . . . she looked beautiful," Felos told the assembled reporters...That's just weird.
It turns out that Felos's weirdness goes deeper still. In a 2003 article, Florida Baptist Witness editor James Smith looked at Felos's 2002 book, "Litigation as Spiritual Practice." Felos's views on the "right to die" are informed by a "syncretistic" spirituality that "mixes diverse religious traditions--including generous citations from the Bible and references to Jesus Christ--creating a composite of his own spiritual worldview."
Smith quotes at length a story from Felos's book about Estelle Browning, the subject of Felos's first right-to-die case:

He had never seen Terri looking so perfectly beautiful as on her death bed, starving and dehydrating to death. What a despicable ghoul.
This guy is just nuts!
I wonder if power hunger does this to a person.
I find hearing or reading the words of this man far more terrifying than any horror movie. He is definitely a ghoul and there is no doubt that he actually sees himself as as some sort of angel of death.
Someone should lock him up and throw the key into a volcano.
He must really fixate on those WWII death camp photos then. (Another black mark against this assclown is that for some reason he reminds me of alan dershowitz in looks and actions.)
Yeah, I heard this discussed on Glenn Beck today. And folks call me a "whack-job" because I read and believe the Bible.
So, as long as I am going to be called a "whack-job" and "thumper" anyway. I may as well state that either this guy is:
(1)Making this up.
(2)Nuttier than a Christmas fruitcake.
(3)Communing with demons!
This is one sick puppy. Glenn Beck, tongue in cheek, suggested Felos was actually channeling Hilter! It was funny, but this is scary at the same time.
actually Felos reminds me of Chevy Chase. No rhyme or reason.
I don't know if his euthanasia crusade made him nuts, or if his being nuts led to the euthanasia crusade. Another thing we'll never know.
sould speaking.
Felos believes he can speak to the souls of the near dead.?
Felos is full of crap. I should know.

(insert theme from Twilight Zone here)
After having endured his press conference and reading this passage from his book I am firmly convinced that a great injustice is being perpetrated here and this guy is a serious menace. He is creepy and crazy!
Yesterday when he invoked the "holy Day" of Easter I thaught he was going to be struck by lightening, right there.
Wow! he sure has chosen his side and his judgement day is going to come.
The guy is also channeling money into his bank account and his investment portfolios where it will also "talk" to him. Given the size of his ego, nothing that he says or thinks of surprises me. He's kind of a George Soros to the dying, a creep but a smart creep which makes him even scarier.
They didn't say anything because they don't want to be considered crazy by delving into the issue. Believe me, I know. I lost 3 friends tonight because of my opinion of Felos.
