Federal authorities in the United States have announced the arrest of a juvenile in connection to last weeks shooting rampage at a high school on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
Officials would not say how the youth was involved in the attack, which left 10 people dead, including the 16-year-old gunman.
US Attorney Tom Heffelfinger said the juvenile had been arrested a day earlier, but declined to reveal any further details, including the age or gender of the youth.
Investigators said last week that Jeff Weise had acted alone in the shooting, which shocked the tightly-knit community, in the northern US state of Minnesota.
Weise was a student at the Red Lake high school and was said to have a history of depression.
He fatally shot his grandfather and the mans girlfriend last week, then went to school and killed seven others and himself.
KSTP reported that the one arrested (Louis Jourdain) has expressed anger over Weise doing all the shooting without him despite that fact that they worked together on the plan.
Louis Jourdain, I wonder if there's any relatuonship with Rodger Jourdain?
Don't know about Roger, I did find this "Authorities arrested Louis Jourdain, the 16-year-old son of Red Lake Tribal Chairman Floyd Jourdain, in connection with the school shootings at Red Lake High School, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has confirmed."
BEMIDJI, MN (AP)--Roger Jourdain, who for 31 years was tribal chairman of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa, died March 21, 2002, at a Bemidji hospital. He was 89.
Oh Boy! This is going to set off a large bomb on Red Lake!
Was he writing zombie stories?
Stupid is as stupid does.
