Too bad he is so utterly boring. And was such a buttocks kisser to the liberals in 2000.

Leiberman is living proof as TO HOW STUPID THE FAR-LEFT IS. If they had run him, they might have taken the White House -- but they TRASHED HIM and ran that MARXIST BUFFOON instead....

Big deal.
Lieberman is grandstanding -- now, when Terri reached the point of no return.
I don't think this deserves "Breaking News" status.
Where was Lieberman, when the US Senate insisted on the weaker version of the bill, that the Schindler's MAY appeal to the Federal Court, instead of accepting the House version, where the bill COMPELLED the Federal Judiciary to accept the case.

It is all so disgusting, and now appears hopeless beyond hopeless. Even if, by some miracle, MS changed his mind, the court orders would not permit him to instruct the Hospice to have the tube reinsurted. By the time they had a new ruling, Terri just would not be with us.
Michael may have been the nail in Terri's coffin, but Greer was the hammer that shut it tightly. (I know, MS is planning to cremate her.)

Hey lib lurkers...are you sure you are right on this one?
I'd hardly call these people Republicans yet even they can see that your side is wrong on this one.

Every Congressman and Every Senator has immunity.
Any of these grandstanding, crocodile-tear-shedding, elitist morons could have got on a plane, flown down to Florida, and walked right past any guard or policeman, and sat down and spoon-fed Terri water and / or food. They cannot be arrested.

Yeah - and supposedly, he "supported" Clinton's impeachment. That was all BS too.

I'm not surprised. No Orthodox Jew would ever consent to the idea its acceptable to starve an innocent person to death. And its irrelevant what the personal wishes of family members might be. Life is sacred.

""And I think as a matter of law, if you go - particularly to the 14th Amendment, [you] can't be denied due process, have your life or liberty taken without due process of law, that though the Congress' involvement here was awkward, unconventional, it was justified to give this woman, more than her parents or husband, the opportunity for one more chance before her life was terminated by an act which was sanctioned by a court, by the state." "
Wow. Is Senator Lieberman actually agreeing with me that Congress was authorized to pass Terri's law pursuant to Section 5 of the 14th Amendment? If so, how can Lieberman be so respectful of the right to life in Terri's case yet vote against the partial-birth abortion ban on numerous occasions? I hope Lieberman gives this his prayerful consideration and eventually realize that the unborn are equally entitled to the right to life.

Actually it is surprising the Democrats who were against pulling the tube. I've heard that Lanny Davis, Tom Harkin, Harry Reid were against it to name a few.

Thanks for speaking up. It's a little late, though.
What really blows my mind is Gov. Bush says he can't do anything more; yet people like Hitlery and Bill Clinton, like Felos, Judge Greer and the husband are moving earth to get exactly what they want.
What is wrong with this picture?

"This Republican Party of Lincoln has become a party of theocracy. ... There are going to be repercussions from this vote [on Schiavo's constitutional rights]," Shays said. "There are a number of people who feel that the government is getting involved in their personal lives in a way that scares them."In other words, people who believe in God should not have rights.
