After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Here is your answer regarding Jeb Bush: http://www.reerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1373348/posts.
great! sounds like a plan....
Anyone wanting to create a memorial for Terri on their private property, let's do it. I imagine we should try to get an idea of what this memorial should include. Since the family had the Roses for Terri rally- I guess roses should be in order.
OH WOW!
FOX SAYS GOING TO SUPREME COURT???
What is a dignified death? To die in your sleep would be peaceful death...to throw your body on a grenade to save fellow soldiers is a heroic death.
Check your mail.
National Terri Day? I LOVE IT! I wish the neighbors accross the street from MS would put a memorial sign out.
What I heard was that her parents moved there first, and she wanted to go there to be near them. I don't know which is the right story.
"Once Terri dies, and the HINO absconds with her remains, that's it. His reign of terror is over. I don't see where there's anything more he could do."
Until he gets tired of Jodi.
What, more hand-washing?
I hear ya! It's like the judiciary is a police state of sorts and no one is safe from unjustice. They are definitely out of control.
I am a conservative republican but they are not getting any more money from us until they straighten this mess out.
Yes, just heard the parents are filing once again with the USSC.
I at least want a bumper sticker of some kind. If we all have them, what's he gonna do?
hugs to you, dear one . . . I was wondering earlier if the deep pain we feel is also that we are bearing part of the heavy burden. . .
Psalm 7
1O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
5Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
What an asinine statement! The Judicial system holds the nation hostage and they say the other branches actions are at odds with the nation's founding fathers?
The nations' founding fathers would have a cow to know that prayer is not legal in school and that's just the beginning of the slope down.
YES!! THE RIBBON!!!
GREAT!! I have to run- taking my son to Youth Group at church- be right back..
I would like to make a bumper sticker that says, "Where there's life, there's hope!" - Terri Schindler
Also this from the article....
"Among the reasons given in the majority opinion for the rejection was the revelation that the congressional law passed last week regarding the case was unconstitutional."
The issue before them wasn't the constitutionality of the law Congress passed. This is insane!
In a world not run by greer, Terri might be standing outside another hospice for someone else.
She was NOT that badly off in earlier photos. Brain damaged but not laying in bed.
She used to sit at the nurses station and greet people coming in to see family.
