After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I'm struck by the story of the father who had his daughter, Nancy Cruzan (did I spell her name correctly?) starved and dehydrated because "he didn't want to see her wearing a diaper all her life." Contrast that with the effort Terri's parents put in to save her life. Terri can be VERY, VERY proud of them, and of her brother and sister, too. She'll tell them so one day, you know.
I don't know. They've lived there for a long time now. I wonder.
They're from PA, aren't they?
OH hi Svd. I was wondering about the accident. You had shared several days ago that he was in a car accident and I was concerned for him and the pregnant woman and children.
Glad to see ya back.
Count me in!
Let him, or one of his goons, step one foot on my property... just one!
Am I correct that Terri moved to Florida because her job sent her there? In that case, did her family follow her down?
They have no shame in this at all... perhaps the only ones who don't. They TRULY did everything they could do.
In a world not run by Greer, Terri would have her Priest with her at this time.
Leaving for a bit. See you all a little later.
Yes, I was thinking along those lines too. Terri didn't stand a chance up and down the judiciary. They all were determined to kill her, to thumb their noses at the other branches.
SOUNDS SUPER!!!!!!!!! a NATIONAL WE LOVE TERRI DAY!!!!!!!
Yes. She will.
I'm in!
Amen
He said he will bury her ashes in his family plot....doubtful. I don't think funerals are held in a garbage dump.
He gave the Schindlers permission to erect a memorial to Terri anyplace they wished. Except for where her ashes are.
Monster is the only word I have for such evil
I've went through highs and lows during this whole thing. When it went to a higher court, I thought Terri would be helped, I would be encouraged..Then they ruled against her and I was depressed and I cried. Then when it looked like she would be helped again, I was high [not drugs] again.
Right now I'm just plain angry.
Yes, her family can have a memorial for her.
I honestly think you have been mislead about who holds the power in your form of Government. Final decisions, do NOT come from Judges. The Executive branches of the Government can REJECT ANY Judicial ruling that they don't agree with. It's pretty sad and sick when starving and dehydrating an INNOCENT person to death is considered normal and right. The 11th Circuit Court is the same court that has only given the go ahead to execute 10 CRIMINALS in California since 1979!! But they have NO problem executing an innocent girl who has done no wrong and has harmed nobody. What a travesty. As the Word of God says, In the last days, right will be wrong, wrong will be right, people will think only of themselves, they will be greedy, Haters of God,Lovers of Pleasure more than lovers of God, lacking in NATURAL AFFECTION, and just thoroughly bad.
The hospital said the family were ok. It took us awhile to find out. We went to the hospital to see if they needed a hotel room or dinner for their children since they are from another state. The nurse actually went back and asked them for us and told them we were there. The nurse said they couldn't give out any information on their condition. We have a friend that works at the hospital. The only thing she could tell us was that they were all ok. Thank the Lord!
My husband is fine. He was just really shook up because the engine was smoking and hissing in the other car and he was pulling kids out in a panic. He put on a brave face and did all he could and then came home and broke down in tears. It was hard for me to leave.
Could you give me an update on Terri? Is she still holding on? What are they doing about the appeal?
