After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Yes, I am listening ec. I hope he never loses the passion he is showing right now. This is such a horrible day.

As far as Jeb and W go...a little honest moral outrage that what was happening was wrong would have gone a long way with me. I didn't see that.
Yes, I am afraid that "prolife" is now "just a word." It has been rendered meaningless in the fight against satan.
Thanks for your words. Satan is having a field day with all of this misdirected anger and division.
Again, I ask what is the alternative? We are nearing the end of time. I know it and I am ready. We have a whole country that is not ready and many who claim their is no God at all... so to me the days of Revelation are at our doorstep.

That's right, it wasn't praise. Jeb said that he really felt for the family, and almost as an afterthought, he said, and for Michael Schiavo too.
How is that any different than Bobby Schindler asking Terri's supporters to pray for his sister, for his parents, and "most of all, for Micahel Schiavo"?
I admire the grace in both of their statements. Would that we on this thread have that same grace, especially toward those who worked to save Terri.
Why is this misdireted anger applied to Jeb & W??? Because they had executive power to correct the abuses of the judiciary and did not act. Even today a Bush I appointee on the Atlanta court was criticizing Bush II for signing Terri's Law. He said the law was "unconstitutional" and beyond what the Founding Fathers would have done. Obviously, GHWB did not do a good job in selecting this or other judicial appointments as well.
THEN way.... blame others besides, Micheal Schiavo!!!
The Judges who rejected this choice to let Terri die!!!!

I'm in no frame of mind to argue about Jeb right now. I'm afraid I'll do some blasting...some real blasting...and I'm not going to do that. But could we please let this drop? Just for now? Please?

broken....I feel broken, and what's worse, I can't even begin to imagine how the Schindlers must be feeling...

I imagine he suggested this not in sympathy for his plight but for God to heal his heart, something that has been suggested by many on this thread. That's the distinction. I didn't hear anything about prayer from Jeb.
I agree with both of you.
I can assure you... Both Bush Brothers are very sad this has happened under their watch.
Maybe on day, when the few of us get to heven, we can know what the reasons for this whole ordeal happening....
I can also assure you.. Jeb and W will both be in heven. I can not say that about Micheal Schiavo or the stack of Judges who let Terri die.
