After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
How about Coulter/Ingram in 08? What man wouldn't vote for that? (and what women would). LOL.

The short of it......My teenage son who just turned 17, wears a purity ring, doesn't drink, who's homeschooled, never misses church, won a spot on the Junior US Recurve Archery team. They are in Aalborg, Denmark, where they just competed against 50 other countries. Last night was their last night and they had a get together with all of their hotel room doors open...wait, I'm getting ahead of myself.
He never called home yesterday, so we were worried. I called a little bit ago...a girl, groggily answers the phone. I ask for my son, she hangs up on me. I call again. I hear snoring. Phone goes dead. I call again. Son answers, half asleep. "Why is there a girl in your room son?" "There's LOTS of girls in the room mom." Ok...that makes me feel better. "We kinda had a wild night last night and everybody is everywhere." Ok...
must be some slow dial up connection you got there....

After having a girl answer your son's hotel room? Even if it wasn't a word, I wouldn't tell you that right now. ;-)

No you are not alone, this is a firestorm and the GOP is down to mere hours in which to put it out. I bash Bush/GOP here over this and that because well this is there i can safely blow steam. But in the world I fought every day for votes for Bush and the GOP, and since I own a bar and I am respected I can sway more then one or two. And like you if this stands I am finished.

I got up earlier than usual, as I'm sure alot of you did ;-) so I'm going to bed. I have first-hand experience that God is still plenty active and powerful, even if I'm asleep!
We trust you for Terri, Lord, and ask that You speed the work of Your righteousness through this nation, its hearts, its laws, its rulings, and its love for You and for all others. Pull together all these details about Terri...don't let it get lost on our country. Please give us the change of heart, the repentance, the change of thinking we need. Forgive us because Your Son's death pays for our deserved punishment. Thank You for raising Him from the dead, and offering us His righteousness imputed to us through faith. What really gets me is this "starvation euphoria" B.S. Remember the "We Are The World" fund-raiser and all the rest over the years with the heartbreaking photos of starving children in Ethiopia and Rwanda, etc. We are constantly bombarded with guilt over their plight and the tragedy and pain of their situation. And it is tragic. Not once has anyone said they were all in a harmonious, beautiful, euphoric situation...But apparently in this era they're the envy of the rest of us as it's now the in thing and very peaceful to go without food or water. Who's really buying it?
