After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Yeh, "perceived" inaction. Dubyuh was right there to sign the legislation designed to give Terri another shot at life. Dubyuh spoke up in favor of letting Terri live, but Florida law--and a heartless judiciary--trumped he and his brother's efforts.
"Unfair"?
Yeah, yer comparing Dubyuh to a ghost and you cannot even provide any evidence that Reagan wouldda reacted any different than Bush has.
"I don't think you remember Ronald Reagan much less his presidency."
Now I KNOW yer full KRAP, Fist_Typer...MUD
I certainly hope all those people enjoy their lunches, while Terri misses her 13th lunch, not to mention breakfast and dinner, at this point.
What shocks me is how ignorant the public is about what is REALLY happening here!!!
If that is, indeed, the case, I'd love to hear the Governor express real outrage. So far what we've heard is that he's worried about the Schindlers...and he's concerned about Michael Schiavo. Sorry...the Governor isn't convincing me.
Michael's brother feels that Terri sent him a girlfriend. The Schiavo clan is crazy.

Too bad Terri couldn't send for a divorce. Maybe Terri can send for take out.. Your right they are NUTZ. They are divining things out of the evil in their hearts. Scientologists hate Christians they see them as lower than dead on the (Emotional Tone scale) They are afraid that those low ratings will transfer over to them to ruin their occult works. Not surprizing that people like Felos and Greer hide behind Christian ideology to perfom their monstrous deeds.
Praise you O' God for raising and using your little servant Terri to allow us to see the wolves that devour your sheep. Thy rod and thy staff comfort me.
The public won't be so ignorant when it is they, perhaps in old age, in the bed being dehydrated and starved to death.
and I'll check this out, too -- http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/insight_for_living/
Maybe what you truly believe wouldda been exactly what Reagan wouldda done, but we can never be sure and I can see major differences in the examples that you are presenting to buttress yer case and the Terri Schiavo case.

Kindly please read these Founding documents. Please focus on inalienable (i.e., those which cannot be taken away) "rights" and some other places. Please make yourself with Thomas Jefferson's additional writings on the specific Right to Life.
Then please kindly come back to this forum with any new arguments that you might have that shows we have no way around this to step in and save our fellow citizen's life in Florida this very day, this very hour, this very minute.
Alistair Begg was also very good this morning.
Yes, but the female is deadlier than the male. She's the one with the insurance connections. I wonder how much MS is worth dead??? Lol, hate to be so sarcastic on this thread, but I wonder who is going to off the other first?
Not simple trespassing with a $350 fine anymore... they've upped the ante.
... but please, O Lord, please spare this little lamb . . .
Pretty remarkable.
Yer preaching to the choir, TE...I wanted Terri to live, too, and made exactly the same arguments you are raising, but still Terri's life has been trumped. And I'm not too sure Reagan would have reacted that much differently than dubyuh has.
And we'll never know fer sure...MUD
And once again, we can blame one of my favorite whipping-boys, the media, for keeping much of the public totally ignorant. Just complete ignorance.
I disagree that Reagan is a "ghost." Reagan is an ideal, a principle. Reagan IS "conservatism." It's a shame he's gone and there is no one with any courage to take his place.
He would not have broken the law but he wouldn't have remained quiet, or tried to change the subject.
I don't think you remember Ronald Reagan nor do you believe as he did. Proof? You don't recall how Reagan spoke out against abortion even when the tide was against him.
Say "yer full Krap" all you like. We disagree. I very comfortable with that one.
I know a few folks in the OEOB and also over at State Dept. They have given inklings/hints to me of a 'political fix' that is in, and precisely the idea to ramp up issues on Foreign Policy (such as Afghanistan, ironically for 'Women's Rights' of all things), etc. to take it away from this domestic Florida right to life case--which is politically damaging, is indeed a political move.
I saw it even before I could even hear this from a few of them. I'm not surprised. I see you caught it too.

Then who do we blame fer the fact that Terri is still gonna die any day now? You wanna blame it all on Dubyuh? Or do you wanna channel yer anger towards something constructive and help us figger out how to bring the Judiciary Branch back within the Constitutional system of Checks and Balances? I say we work on getting the Judiciary back in line!!

I think they should of removed him way back in 1993 when he was ordering doctors around to not treat her for a urinary tract infection. He admitted in testimony that such action would result in her death. That's a big hint if you ask me.
