After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
FreeperTwo: Now it is a case of keeping our eyes on the Lord and seeing what He will do. He has kept her all this time...He will keep her until it is His own decision to let her go. I am praying now that He will keep her healthy and tell her to keep hanging on and that help is coming.
FreeperTwo's right about that.
TEJ, Scoop 1 might have it, since this is probably still down.
See this Bone Scan Image:.

My God is bigger than morphine. :)
CLEARWATER - After the Supreme Court denied to hear their appeal, the last hope for the parents of Terri Schiavo rests with Gov. Jeb Bush and the Department of Children and Families. But it appears that DCF missed a critical window of opportunity to intervene Thursday morning, and now it may be too late.
Wednesday afternoon, Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer issued a temporary restraining order, preventing DCF from removing Terri from the Pinellas Park hospice where her life-sustaining feeding tube has been disconnected.
At 8 a.m. Thursday, DCF filed an appeal to Greer's order. When they did so, an automatic stay of the order went into effect, meaning that they could intervene.
The attorney for Terri's husband Michael, who opposes any attempts to prolong Terri's life, said he suspected DCF wasn't aware of that stay until he had filed a motion for a new restraining order.
"We were seeing stalling tactics by the attorney for DCF and also the attorney for the parents," George Felos said outside of court. "Frankly, I don't believe that when they filed their notice of appeal they realized that that gave them an automatic stay. When we filed our motion to vacate the automatic stay, my guess is, and our information is, they realized that they had a short window of opportunity and they wanted to extend that as long as they could."
Greer did not allow that to happen. Three hours after DCF filed its appeal, he closed that window by approving Felos' motion for an order to prevent DCF from interfering in the case while he considered their request to take guardianship of Terri.
Terri Schiavo has been in a persistent vegetative state since a 1990 heart attack, court-appointed doctors have found. Michael claims his wife said she did not want to live in such a condition, and he has tried for seven years to disconnect her feeding tube.
Terri's parents disagree with Michael about her end-of-life wishes, as well as doctors' findings that she cannot recover. They have fought for years to keep Terri's feeding tube connected, but a series of losses in court has resulted only in buying time for their daughter.
Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court denied to hear their latest appeal, leaving Gov. Bush and the DCF motion as the parents' most significant last hope.
"At this point in time, it appears every legal option has been exhausted," observed right-to-life activist Rev. Pat Mahoney. "Governor Bush is now the only practical hope for Terri Schiavo."
The motion before Judge Greer involved a Jacksonville neurologist with ties to a Christian medical group who believes Terri Schiavo is not in a persistent vegetative state. Dr. William Cheshire has not examined Terri, but recently saw her in person for an hour.
"The doctor at the Mayo clinic, he said she is in pain, she is communicating. We have to stop this, and our hope and prayer is that we can get it stopped before it's too late," stated David Gibbs III, the family's attorney.
Based on Cheshire's opinion, DCF was seeking to take Terri Schiavo into custody and presumably reconnect her feeding tube, using a law intended to protect adults from abuse. The move has drawn criticism from several other doctors who have examined Terri, and George Felos blasted Gov. Bush for his involvement Thursday morning.
"It saddens me greatly that we have to run to court to get court orders to protect Terri Schiavo from the abuse by the state of Florida. The conduct of the executive branch of the state of Florida has been reprehensible in this case," Felos continued.
Later Thursday afternoon, Judge Greer ruled against DCF's motion to intervene, saying that Dr. Cheshire's opinion had no bearing on what had previously been determined to be Terri's wishes.
Gov. Bush said an appeal was pending, as was a separate appeal in federal court.

No new information; I switched over from Fox to MSNBC....now they're showing live video of father leaving the hospice.....that's all that was said.
Have to register to see the bone scan? I thought the scan was done in 1993.
I have to keep doing the same thing nic. I keep switching channels because I cannot STAND some of the verbal diarrhea that spews out of the mouths of some of these people. They are decieved beyond measure.!!
No, Rush hasn't been saying it for days. I remember saying it when this started. Like many here, I spent alot of time in the late 80's, early 90's battling abortion. Friends in Operation Rescue were arrested and went to jail.
It's an obvious comparison.
I think this is it. I did not check it out yet myself.

Thank you, Nicmarlo.
Dear Father, you are full of power to save! We cry out to you to help this innocent and precious woman! Comfort her father who is deeply distressed - as only you can. Continue to surround this family with caring people who show them love and kindness. In Christ's name, Amen
thanx, that's a real compliment
Thanks. I rarely use tag lines but if I do that would be a good one.
Well hopefully God in his almighty Mercy will sustaine her. I can't clam to know what he has been thinking lately....
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
It looked pretty bad.
the bone scan is on the earlier threads from this month. I think if you do a google for it, you may find it elsewhere. Its on www.theempirejournal.com somewhere but I don't know where unless it's in one of the domestic abuse stories. You might find it in the Schiavo archives on the site. Your fastest bet is probably by doing a google search for it
If Terri dies tonight, the one thing that CANNOT happen is for the people to drop their case against these so called "leaders". They aren't leaders. They are all cowards. They couldn't care less about Terri or her parents, they are worried more about their political skin. That is where they MUSTN'T be let off the hook. It should be made plain to them that the CONSEQUENCES will still follow and they will be losing their jobs in record numbers.
BUMP!
