After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I need to correct something from a previous post.
I meant to say autism is one disorder on a spectrum of Pervasive DEVELOPMENT Disorders, not Pervasive Personality Developments.
My brain is so fried after a week here with little sleep, I can't even think straight anymore, lol.
I'm listening to Fund on Drudge right now, very interesting; recording it too
Bump to find later.
I believe they did. Dr Cheshires report was one.
I will ping you if I see anything that might interest you sfimom. Hope you stick around.
Here...
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have, but that made me laugh.
That said, and while I'm am finding it hard to do, we should pray for MS.
Yep, we are.
One judge on the 11th 3 judge panel wanted to save Terri. And we know at least 2 out of the full panel of 12 did too. That's it. I can't understand it nor explain it.
My 3 grown sons were home today. All single, 2 still in college. Busy lives....and we talked about Terri a lot, today. They were all stunned. Had only heard vaguely about her. My 23 yr. old kept saying, "what am I missing here? We don't starve disabled people to death, do we?"
They all proudly voted for Bush. We're a conservative Catholic family. I think we're pretty typical of most Republicans......but now we all are questioning. What is going on?
Luke 23:34
"And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."
That is the attitude Christ had toward those that crucified him. Wouldn't hurt if people looking for blame took a moment to think on those words.
Jeb.
"I'm listening to Fund on Drudge right now, very interesting; recording it too"
It's fascinating!!
No, Jeb.
Okay. You are correct about that. I'm thinking of the first case and all the subsequent appeals. In the end that's what they used to murder Terri. I think the additional evidence presented in the past few days was doomed to defeat by a circling of the wagons after PC, cow-towing judges and limp-wristed politicians saw the polls.
How long ago did we believe this country wouldn't murder disabled adults? Get real. No one is safe. Don't you understand, if Terri does not have the right to life that none of us does. Life is now only a privilege that can be taken away at any time. What are your imperfections? How do we know which group is next?
It's sad we're all so worn out and on our last nerves. But it's because we care. Group hug for everybody who needs one.
Do tell! Has he came up with any plan that could save Terri?
Drudge -Pinellas Police- "The Andy Griffith Crew.."
HE IS RISIN INDEED!
I agree. I hope to sit at Jesus's feet and listen to him for hours. Maybe we can all roll down a hill of wildflowers under the Son with Terri!
Fox showed a clip today of one of the cops emptying a bottle of water out onto the pavement...my family and I looked at each other in disbelief.
