After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
If Jesse can pull this off I will forever respect him and will never say another bad word about him again!
Yesterday, but according to Randall Terry, she urinated last night which shows she is not drained of life yet!
God bless JJ, Terry, Schindlers and most of all Terri.

I read somewhere, that the Black Caucus has been supportive, as a group, of Terri living. (I can't remember where I read that.)
Yes. Praise God! Let the others slam Jesse Jackson but he is apparently the only one in a position of influence who is doing anything. I'm concerned about the time factor though. A miracle here would do much for this country.
At this time in Jesse Jackson's life, Jesse's doing God's work, in the best way he can: going to the scene of the crime and speaking out against this atrocity. God bless him for that.

One thing this board really needs is an "ignore" feature like Free Dominion, or better yet, a BBS-era "killfile" feature where you don't even see the name of those on your list. Some people aren't worth talking to.

Yes, and as others have said, I do not CARE if it turned out Jesse is doing this to be in the spotlight (though I'm not assuming that to be the case). God can use anything and anyone, and there is a whole lot of TRUTH coming out of Mr. Jackson's mouth.

Yes, and Amen! I didn't detect any incincerity in his voice either. He said everything I might have said. And you are absolutely correct... God uses people for His ends. And there is no reason to believe that Jackson is not doing God's Will here. Amazing stuff!
Randall Terry said that is when the meet again. I'm sure they don't want them to wait until tomorrow, but as of right now that is when they are meeting again. I have doubts this bill will pass, unless Jesse can appeal to some of the democratic leaders and get them to change their mind. I still can't believe some of the Republicans are voting against terri. I will never understand that! I hope that if they can get enough votes that maybe they can get into a special session this afternoon but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Lets just keep praying!
You don't seem to be the only one. These threads used to be huge, with people praying, looking for news and searching for ways to help. While I didn't post much, I always looked to this thread as a refuge...not any more!
When it became clear that our efforts had failed, it quit being about Saving Terri and became a Bash Bush thread. It is now as full of hate as every other FR thread and that's a shame.
IMO, this thread should get back to it's real purpose. Terri needs our help & prayers and posters need comfort...there's plenty of time for ranting later (and plenty of threads to take it to now if you can't wait).

I'm hoping the someone will post the names again, of those that voted against the bill. Perhaps they need a polite call.
I don't know if they can do something today, or if Jesse can convince them. But, I haven't given up hope, nor will I.

VATICAN CITY -- Pope John Paul II may have to return to the hospital to have a feeding tube inserted, an Italian news agency reported Tuesday. It stressed that no decision had been made.The APcom news agency, citing an unidentified source, said the 84-year-old pope might have to have the tube inserted to improve his nutrition since he is having difficulty swallowing with the breathing tube that was inserted Feb. 24.
APcom said the idea of inserting a feeding tube was a hypothesis that was being considered. The procedure involves inserting a tube into the stomach to allow for artificial feeding.

On Saturday, March 19th, I saw a Video on CNN. I was horrified to see Terri with her shirt pulled up and HER FEEDING TUBE STINKING OUT OF HER STOMACH. Some on this board/thread told me I was wrong, it was NOT Terri.
I was not wrong. IT WAS DEFINATELY TERRI. She looked terrified as she moved her head back and forth. There were two people there with her. One on each side of her bed. I couldn't see their faces, only their body, as they stood beside her. I started to cry really bad. I thought it was a video of them getting ready to take Terri's tube out on March 18, 2005. Her sweet face looked so scared. Her eyes told exactly how she felt. I do not believe the Schindlers released this video of her shirt pulled up.
Approx a week later, CNN again showed the Video. This time it was even worse. As they played the Video, they continued it for longer than previously. This time, the person's face was shown that stood to the right of Terri's bed.
To my horror it was none other than, MICHEAL SCHIAVO. Again you saw her shirt pulled up with her FOOD AND WATER, FEEDING TUBE STINKING OUT OF HER STOMACH. HINO Schiavo's face began to move toward Terri's face. She looked so scared as SHE LITERALLY TURNED HER HEAD FROM HIS. This time I cried even worse. The stinking so called husband, was filming Terri with her shirt pulled up. I think he was telling Terri exactly what he was going to do.
I believe Schiavo told Terri he was going to pull or remove her Feeding Tube. That tape proves Terri's emotions. It shows how scared she was. THE VIDEO NOW HAD A DATE ON IT. It was DATED 2001.
On APRIL 24, 2001, TERRI'S FEEDING TUBE WAS REMOVED FOR THE FIRST TIME~!!!!!
MICHAEL SCHIAVO VIDEO TAPED TERRI WITH HER SHIRT PULLED UP. HE PROBABLY TAPED THE TUBE BEING REMOVED.
Therefore when Felos and Schiavo the MONSTER, says they are concerned about Terri's PRIVACY - THEY ARE LYING.
WHAT KIND OF A MONSTER IS MICHAEL SCHIAVO? I DO NOT HAVE THE WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW HORRIBLE THE SUB-HUMAN PERSON, IS.
The graphics of this case has been hidden from the light of day. Felos will NOT ALLOW THE MEDIA TO SEE TERRI. That's always been his plan, to keep Terri hidden away, so the TRUTH COULD NOT BE KNOWN. He then lies about Terri's family. A reporter from MSNBC by the name of Lisa Daniels. I believe she knows the truth about Terri. She is reporting from the Death House HOSPICE.
