After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
WOW, well if Glan Beck is saying this than maybe it is true! He is close to the family and knows first hand what is going on. Honestly, I hope it is true for her sake so she can rest in peace.
Coming down from the Father above,
SWEEP over our spirit for ever we pray,
in Fathomless billows of love.
Trusting God this day, whatever the outcome.

"Some one on another thread says that Terri has now died. Any confirmation of this????"
I have had Fox on all morning and no one has said a thing about that, just that she is still fighting.
I got the impression listening to Bobby and Suzanne on Focus on the Family this morning that they are gaining strength from those they know are supporting them. So everybody, keep praying for them...and for Terri's rescue.
The person must have heard Beck wrong then. Haven't heard of that Freeper before now.
WOW, Bobby and Suzanne is on Focus today? I will listen now. Thanks for the headsup.
Has anyone heard from Floriduh Voter and Ohioan from Florida lately?
Thanks Floriduh Voter. So they are considering impeaching Judge Greer, but leave Terri to die. What a bunch of jerks.
It's time to play the blame game. Don't get me wrong, Judge Greer needs to be impeached, but it goes higher than that. In the meantime, Terri is suffering a horrible death.
They've lowered the bar with their attitude that a lowly Circuit Court Judge trumps a Governor.
As we found out, Gov. Bush was told by the Thomas More Law Center in 2003 that he had the authority to save Terri. The center has reaffirmed the governor's authority recently.
I don't understand what's wrong Txrangerette??
Has someone offended you? You're part of this group as much as anyone else is, in my opinion. I doubt everyone here thinks 100 percent alike.
FV posted to another thread I think. I need another cup of coffee to clear out the cobwebs this morning. Not sure of anything to day~~*G*
I was wondering the same thing. Have they gone to Washington? I am still beseeching the executive branches and chastising the news organizations.
I agree with you.
What is happening to this country goes far beyond poor Terri, and the "people" you describe do appear to be soulless. Of course they have souls, everyone has a soul, but something has died in them - if it were ever there, such as when they were little children? - that is the spark of Divinity and "a good Conscience towards God".
In my post, I wrote that the class of people which includes George and Jeb and Bill Frist and Tom Delay and Dennis Hastert and Rick Santorum and Mel Martinez and Dr. Dave Weldon...you name them, all of them even on Terri's side who tried to do something, in my view genuinely does not yet "get it".
Should they have informed themselves better so they would "get it"? Of course. But they have not.
They are part of the system, they are advised by lawyers, and they are very, very busy with lots of agenda items.
I add to this a GREAT BIG AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree too!
Never forget. BOYCOTT FLORIDA, BOYCOTT FLORIDA PRODUCTS.
I think txrangerette may be somewhat disappointed by the irritation with the Bushes some of us have expressed. I understand this sentiment. This situation isn't easy at all. But, then, these events have done this sort of thing across the board, with conservatives everywhere. There are still many here at FReep who support Terri but are frustrated by the stark choice in this situation. Many conservatives are trying to find the middle ground on this issue. But there isn't any.
I really believe Rep Delay meant every word he said about wanting to save Terri. I also think there are forces going after him to discredit him. I couldn't believe how much was said about Delay, this past week, in a negative way.
The MSM played clips of him from the house floor when he was fighting for Terri. How can Rep Delay be attacked by the media for trying to help Terri. It's ridiculous.
I also believe Rep Weldon was very sincere too as well as others.
I thought, by law in Florida, an autopsy is required in the case of cremation.
I need to talk with someone from Terri's fight, I feel it's important. Please send me a phone number on freepmail.
