After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

I would imagine that such a video would play once or twice, and then conveniently be consigned to the trash can, since it contradicts the conventional media "wisdom" which has Terri wanting to die.

I've seen this sort of behavior many times by the MSM.

I recall that the only cable network that played the video of President Bush "rescuing" his Secret Service agent in Chile when he was barred from entering the building with him, was the FOX News Network.

IIRC, the others merely mentioned the incident, no video.
CNN was especially mum on the whole thing.

This is what you see with the "experts" that appear on these networks.
The biased and barely competent Dr. Cranford is all over the airwaves these past few days piping his "Terri is PVS" tune.

Dr. Cheshire, on the other hand, was immediately derided for also being a "Christian conservative". So that disqualifies him right away, in the MSM's eyes.

It's just insidious. Good luck on trying to find that video of Barbara Weller!

There's more fraud than we imagined. The Schindlers consulted with Shams while he was a lawyer, then he became the Judge Shams and tried to put Terri to death in 1997.

Tracy, since you called me over here, let me take a moment to drop out of Lurk 'n Link mode to respond.

The rest of you? ( and pardon me for leaving many out- the list was getting too cumbersome ) You all helped keep these running posts on the high road-- they truly have been "The Best of Free Republic and its posters."

I've been a Republican since I stumped for Barry Goldwater in 1964... but this sad affair has opened my eyes to incestuousness and corruption that I simply cannot abide.

I'll still support, and vote, for candidates who best represent my country, my state, and my interests.

Thr Republicans will never see another penny from me until I see some improvements. And the Bushes have been a vast letdown.

Too bad, so sad. Live, and learn.

I missed FOX's segement this morning about a guy who had some sort of treatment. His mother thought Terri could have benefitted from it. What was the story?

Yes it's been very tough. It's going to be tough for a while. We may not be able to change anything here in the statutes until the next election, I don't know. Hospice connections gave good to Jim King's campaign so I don't expect him to be the voice of the people in any way that goes against his "obligations".

True, DJ, however, DON'T FORGET.....there are reports I've heard (and I think this was when I was listening to Kate Anderson, not positive) that AS MANY AS 40% of those diagnosed with PVS are MISDIAGNOSED. . . . 40% ERROR RATE. (Sean Hannity even had someone speaking about that, I believe it was a doctor).

Then how do doctors know, WITH 100% CERTAINTY, those they STARVE/DEHYDRATE TO DEATH DON'T FEEL PAIN????????

How is it doctors KNOW EVERYTHING (can mind-read/able to divine feelings...as in pain) when it comes to those who CAN'T SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES??????????

I don't have words to express my disappointment with Jeb Bush, a REPUBLICAN!! I sent a FAX to RNC last night warning them of the backlash and telling them I'm quitting the GOP.
