After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

"By their fruits you will know them"
A lot of people on FR, many of whom I believed to be respectable, have shown some rotten fruit.
To: MarMema
GWB, Jeb, AND Rush are looking pretty repulsive to me.

Do you think it is Karl Rove who is telling the Bushes to allow the murder of this innocent handicapped woman? It's Laura. She's cold-blooded.

I feel sorry for Michael too, sorry he ever met Terri, sorry he is alive, sorry for the life he lives now, and even sorrier for his eternal life.
So what is Jeb afraid of Michaels friends, that they are more powerful, so he better cozy up?
To: sinkspur
Oh, so you passively admit that you weren't asking a question then? Why lie about it?
To: sinkspur
It's Laura. She's cold-blooded. The twins are far worse...AND there are TWO OF THEM!

The National Republican committee and the State Republican Committee both call here because we have donated money to both and I will not give them a dime this year and I will tell them why every time they call.
To: All; trustandobey; floriduh voter
Glad you called. The Republican Party has to learn it can't take us for granted.
They have the attitude "Where else are we going to go?" because the other party is so much worse.
Well, maybe I'll vote for the "lesser of the evils" if the other candidate is Hillary, but they won't get my money.
They don't respect me, obviously, but they respect $$, unfortunately.
I told them the Republican Party is losing it's soul.
In so many states the Republican Party is very pro-abortion. In my own state (NY), REPUBLICAN Gov. Pataki changed the state platform from pro-life to pro-abortion, so I was told.
I'll give the National Republican Party's # again - 202-863-8500.
FV gave me the idea to call them, and I think it's a good idea. We have to try everything.

This is the case with Terri. Everyone knows it's wrong, but the PTB see it as some sacrifices are necessary for the maintance of the status quo. They see her as a small price to pay because, well she's a nobody. They are so vicious about it, that they are labeling anyone who fights for her cause as a marginalized pro-life zealot. The Repulican Party will not miss the 'few' Terri fighters, after all were else can they go. This is the "hit the nail on the head" ugly truth. Excellent post.

Supposedly I am in the Bible Belt of Florida. And Greer is an upstanding Cristian example of the Florida 'Bible Belt.'

P.S. And when Rush said that, I wanted to puke. Two reasons: 1. Terri The Sacrifice, 2. The Senate can't even pull off the nuclear option.
We have the majority, and can't even get a grip on the system.

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace. Wow! I'm gonna pass that on to others, okay.
hmmm verse 9:11? Do you think there is a "Koran Code?"

Did you hear the woman caller who asked if Rush's opinion would be different (regarding presidential executive rescue of Terri) if Kerry were president? Instead of responding his opinion would remain the same no matter who was president, Rush responded he doesn't like hypotheticals. I thought his answer to that call was very revealing!

my husband just got into a wreck. He's ok, but the family that were in the other car aren't. The car was totaled and the mom is pregnant. They had three little ones with them. We went to the hospital to check on them, but they won't let us know anything. Could you say a prayer for them? I don't know their names, but God does. Oh my goodness!! I just came back to the site after dinner to this message. I am SO SORRY SvdByFaith.
Loving Heavenly Father, I come to you on behalf of our dear sister in Christ and her family. I thank you for sparing Sd's husband from harm. I pray that you will be with the family that was injured. Lord we just do not understand so many things like this. Our human side keeps crying out " WHY"!!..and yet we trust Your Word. Romans 8:28 says ALL THINGS work together for good to those who love the Lord, who are called according to His purpose." Lord I pray right now that You will work out all the details. May You receive Glory even in this accident. Speak Peace to the our sister Sd' and family. May they experience a calm that only comes from You. We will praise You and give You Glory for ever, Amen.

I cannot CONFIRM that as factual....that was in the e-mail. So, unless/until it's confirmed as true, suggest someone have it confirmed....(who could do that, I don't know; and I would have done it myself, but I wouldn't have a clue where to look...for me, the Koran is a difficult book to find anything in).
To: Sun
Abortion is an established fact and will persist. The GOP, despite its own platform and rhetoric, will do nothing about it. Hell, they don't even pay lip service to the issue anymore. The Terri Schiavo case is the Roe vs Wade of the new century. These cases will continue as well. The GOPINO will pay some lip service to it and in, say, 20 years the death centers for "useless eaters" and those with a lesser "quality of life" will chug along right with the abortion mills. Perhaps by then the big issue between the two parties will be whether or not individuals can justify their existence and whether or not individuals have the right to custody or decision-making regarding their own handicapped younger children. "Conservatives" by then will make people like Barney Frank today look like Ronald Reagan.
