After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Lunatics. This thread is target-rich.
Nice, calling us names now huh? Get lost sink!
what the saying, it takes one to know one?
I really don't think you belong here.
I'm going to e-mail this article to Governor Bush and tell him he CAN. I put "homemade arrows" ----> by pertinent paragraphs.

STARVATION: DAY 10
Jeb Bush: 'I'd love
to help, but I can't'
Florida governor says he doesn't have power from Constitution to intervene
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, the man said to be the last hope for Terri Schiavo, says he's powerless to help the brain-injured woman who has been without nourishment for more than nine full days.
"I cannot violate a court order," Bush told CNN following Easter church services. "I don't have powers from the United States Constitution or for that matter from the Florida Constitution that would allow me to intervene after a decision has been made."
To Terri's parents, Bush said, "I can't. I'd love to, but I can't."
Speaking to the media for the first time in three days, the governor added, "I'm sad that she's in the situation that she's in. I feel bad for her family. My heart goes out to the Schindlers and, for that matter, to [her husband] Michael," Bush said. "This has not been an easy thing for any, any member of the family. But most particularly for Terri Schiavo."
Meanwhile, protests have continued outside the hospice where Terri is being cared for. With security having been doubled, five people were taken into custody as pastors tried to bring Schiavo Easter communion.
A handful of people in wheelchairs got out of them and shouted, "We're not dead yet!" as they lay in the driveway.
---->Larry Klayman, founder of the legal watchdog group Judicial Watch, said Bush has the power to grant her clemency, just as he would in a death-row case.
---->"We're asking the governor for a stay of execution on Easter Sunday, a day of mercy,'' Klayman said. "For Jeb Bush not to act would be a dereliction of his duty to the people of the state of Florida.''
Terri has been the subject of worldwide attention since Florida Judge George Greer ordered her feeding tube removed March 18, and courts have upheld his decision not to have the tube reinserted.
An attorney for Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, painted a grim picture of the situation on CBS' "Face the Nation."
"Terri is declining rapidly," Schindler attorney David Gibbs said. "We believe at this point she has passed where physically she would be able to recover."
But Randall Terry, a pro-life activist speaking for Terri's parents, called Gibbs' description "absolutely untrue."
George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo says Terri's breathing has been regular, and her death does not appear imminent. He told reporters her remains would be cremated and buried in a family plot in Pennsylvania.

I don't believe that's true. I believe he left voluntarily because the pastor of the church disagreed with his handling of the Schiavo case and said so publicly
Good idea! We need to keep on Jeb even if Terri dies!
Lord Jesus once again we turn our attention to You and Your Love for us, your children. You love Terri and, You alone can now sustain her with living water from above. Lord help us not to second guess what you are doing right now through this situation. We turn to You. Father forgive our ignorance and taking matters into our own hands. We want YOUR will above all. Lord Jesus it seems as if so many feel compeled to ask You to spare her and for a divine miracle. We look to you. So our prayer if it is in accordance with Your Will, we ask that Terri be sustained with nutrition from above. That when those around her see her, they will say " truly God is in this place". They will fear you and repent. Calm our spirits Lord. Help us not to look down as we step out of the boat of Faith. Lord Jesus we Love you, and commit every word, every action into your hands this night.
In your precious name,
Amen
I am not about to start BASHING W, but I have thought Jeb is impudent in protecting the children of Florida for quite some time...
Now the entire GOP seems to impudent in the area of Pro-Life issues- which has been the driving factor to put me in the GOP voting realm. On top of it- the CAPS they put in their so-called tort reform is maddening!
They may call it tort reform- but it is nothing more than making health care prfoessionals a PROTECTED CLASS.
Now- between the left trying to cut care to the elderly- after all the years of paying into it- (once they need it, we say- YOU AIN'T WORTH IT) and to the handicapped- (based on quality of life) and the CAPS-- we are doomed!
Both parties- unknowingly have worked together to create a quandry that will leave us paying all kinds of $$$$ to third world countries that prop up dictators in a way that leaves them USELESS in ever creating a way to take care of themselves, and leaving our own elderly (that helped pay all those tax dollars used for it) to die of wearing out their usefulness..
Not good....
starts with you
Matthew 25:44-45 44 Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?
45 And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least [in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me.
In TX, one cannot change his party until March 2006. Then he changes, if he must, by voting in the other party's primary. But there are no third parties that can have primaries in TX.
Amen
AMEN!
she is holding her own Two-Bits. We are praying for divine touch of sustaining her with food and nutition. God alone has lots of resources He can use, and Michael and his minons will be helpless against God's food.
According to floriduh voter, he hangs out over at the Fort Harrison hotel.
Who asked me for information on the Constitution Party and any statement concerning Terri?? Please freepmail me for that information.
Polly
Go get'um, Cowboy!! Yeee Haaaaaa!!
That is true. The court opinioned in 54. My point though, Bush still would not done what Ike did.
Good night everyone!
