The thing is that the Tartars are not only separate religiously -- they are also ethnically distinct -- being descended from one of the Mongol tribes. I support them being allowed to use their own language.
Problem is, many of these tartars (actual tartars never left Mongolia, they were exterminated by Chengis for the murder of his father, these guys are a Turkic people) are Jihadi veterans of Chechnya, Afghanistan, Uzebekistan and Bosnia.
