John 20: 1-16
Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark,
Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw
that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved,
and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb
and we don’t know where they have put him!”
So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.
Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.
He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.
Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb.
He saw the strips of linen lying there,
as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head.
The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.
Finally the other disciple, who had reach the tomb first, also went inside.
He saw and believed.
(They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
Then the disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying.
As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white,
seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
They have taken my Lord away, she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,
but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
”Woman,” He said, “why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking He was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward Him and cried out in Aramaic,
“Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).

Heavenly Father,

On this Holy Day, we pause to think of Your Son---His life, His death, His resurrection, and we bow in humble gratitude for Him. What amazing love You showed us, Most Precious Savior, that You would die for each of us---that You would bear the tremendous burden of our sins, descend into the depths of hell, endure separation from God our Father, and make the payment for all past, present, and future evil before the Supreme Court of the Universe so that our debts were paid in full. Then You rose triumphant from the grave and became the first of all New Creations, and You ascended to Your seat at the right hand of God, the Father where You reign as our High Priest in heaven, ever living to make intercession for us. And now, let the redeemed of the Lord rejoice in this great mercy and unfathomable love shown to us, and may we count it all joy that the Resurrection has brought the promise of eternal life to those who accept this precious gift. May Jesus Christ be praised throughout all the earth, both now and evermore.

We commit our nation to You, Lord, and pray that You would remove the darkness from America---a darkness that has been revealed with great intensity in recent days. We have experienced a week of tremendous trial here, Father, because of the persecution of an innocent woman and we are in need of the power of the Precious Blood to cleanse us of all the sins that have been committed against not only Terri, but the defenseless in the womb, the aged, and the infirmed in this nation. Lord, You are the only answer to this hurting and divided nation. Where there is doubt, please give us faith. Where there is despair, please be our hope. Where there is hatred, please fill us with love. We need the power of Your divine Spirit in America, Father. Come, Holy Spirit, and descend upon this country as a mighty wind, filling us with a hatred for sin and death and a love for righteousness, justice and life.

May Your peace rest upon our military men and women who will spend the Easter holiday away from their families. Guard them and protect them, Lord. Help Americans to show their gratitude for the gift of service these men and women have given their country.

Please be present with President Bush and his family during this special weekend. Let them rejoice in the knowledge that Christ our Lord died for them and is alive today. Help the Bush family to know and share the joy of the resurrection with all those they encounter. Grant them rest and renewal, Lord, as they worship You.

What language shall we borrow to thank You, Dearest Jesus? Let us live our lives as a letter of love, returning our thanks to You for Your priceless gift of eternal life. Father, we offer these prayers in the Name of Love---our Lord, our Savior, our King, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Alleluia, most Holy God - our Lord and Father of our Savior, Jesus Christ - who sent Him into the world to save the world from itself, to save the world from a fate more terrible than death itself, to save the world from eternal Hell. You are gracious and You are good and Your mercy endures through all generations, now and forever.

Lord, we thank You for our salvation. For the knowledge that Jesus lives and reigns and is coming again.

We thank You for the hope and peace in the resurrection and pray that so many others will partake of this marvelous gift which You gave us 2000 years ago. Lord, if in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable. But, such is not the case. We have hope in Christ not only in this world but in the one to come. Praise You Lord for Your love towards us. And may we be a blessing to You.

Thank you Jesus, for dying for my sins. For forgiving me of every wicked thing I've ever done or ever will do. You are a gracious Lord and I love you.

For it is in Jesus's holy name that I pray. The Lord is risen! He is risen indeed! Amen!

GRACE,MERCY,PEACE,INFINITE BLESSINGS TO ALL THE ADOPTED THROUGH THE PROPITIATION PAID,JUSTIFIED AND REALIZED AT THE RESURRECTION!

"And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from
their master's table."
- Matthew 15:27

This woman gained comfort in her misery by thinking GREAT THOUGHTS OF
CHRIST. The Master had talked about the children's bread: "Now," argued
she, "since thou art the Master of the table of grace, I know that thou
art a generous housekeeper, and there is sure to be abundance of bread on
thy table; there will be such an abundance for the children that there
will be crumbs to throw on the floor for the dogs, and the children will
fare none the worse because the dogs are fed." She thought him one who
kept so good a table that all that she needed would only be a crumb in
comparison; yet remember, what she wanted was to have the devil cast out
of her daughter. It was a very great thing to her, but she had such a high
esteem of Christ, that she said, "It is nothing to him, it is but a crumb
for Christ to give." This is the royal road to comfort. Great thoughts of
your sin alone will drive you to despair; but great thoughts of Christ
will pilot you into the haven of peace. "My sins are many, but oh! it is
nothing to Jesus to take them all away. The weight of my guilt presses me
down as a giant's foot would crush a worm, but it is no more than a grain
of dust to him, because he has already borne its curse in his own body on
the tree. It will be but a small thing for him to give me full remission,
although it will be an infinite blessing for me to receive it." The woman
opens her soul's mouth very wide, expecting great things of Jesus, and he
fills it with his love. Dear reader, do the same. She confessed what
Christ laid at her door, but she laid fast hold upon him, and drew
arguments even out of his hard words; she believed great things of him,
and she thus overcame him.
SHE WON THE VICTORY BY BELIEVING IN HIM.
Her case is an instance of prevailing faith; and if we would conquer like
her, we must imitate her tactics.

C.H.SPURGEON!

Re 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.{they are doomed}
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.[no hiding]
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.[michael and his complicit band of demons]
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.[we are saved,PRAISE GOD!]

For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he {already} sees?
But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for {us} with groanings too deep for words;
and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to {the will of} God.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose.
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined {to become} conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God {is} for us, who {is} against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

-Rom. 8

Lord, it is at times like this that we often do not know how to pray. It is then that we especially appreciate the Spirit interceding within us according to the will of God.

This is a day to remind ourselves that Salvation, the redemption of man, is Your idea. We are but recipients of the costly grace of God, of the priceless kind intentions of Your will. You are, and always have been, in control, regardless of what our eyes see in this fallen age. And the Day is coming when all things will be consumated in You.

Help us, especially Terri and her family, to have peace during this disturbing time by focusing on Your faithfulness. Help us, like Mary above, to recognize You even in the everyday and commonplace. For often You come in disguise, and so often in distressing disguise.

May Your perfect will be done, in this and every situation, to Your glory.

Amen, Faith! Christ is risen indeed!

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead,
the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since death came through a man,
the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
For as in Adam all die, so in CHRIST all will be made alive........I Corinthians 15: 20 - 22

Praising the Lord today for His Resurrection and the life we have in HIM, and praying and praising Him for our brother in Christ, President Bush.

May Your perfect will be done, in this and every situation, to Your glory.

We walk by faith and not by sight. This is one of those times when the darkness is so heavy that we must let our hearts of faith, led by the Spirit, sustain us until the clouds are lifted.

Joining you in prayer.

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

The very same God that spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives

To take away my shame
And He lives forever I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He's alive
And there's an empty grave

And I know my Redeemer, He lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer...
I know, I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that...
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know
My Redeemer lives...
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I know, I know! He lives! He lives!
I spoke with Him this morning!
He lives! He lives!
I gotta tell everybody!

We need the power of Your divine Spirit in America, Father. Come, Holy Spirit, and descend upon this country as a mighty wind, filling us with a hatred for sin and death and a love for righteousness, justice and life.

Amen to this and all the other petitions and praise of your heartfelt prayer.

Because He Lives

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
