After Defeats Schiavo Parents Tell Supporters Go Home
AP - Yahoo ^ | March 26, 2005 | Jane Sutton

Bob and Mary Schindler, both practicing Catholics, urged dozens of supporters gathered outside the Florida hospice where Schiavo is being cared for to go home for Easter.

"The family would request that everyone go home, be with your children, hold them close and share every moment you have with them," said Brother Paul O'Donnell, a Franciscan monk who is a spiritual adviser to the Schindlers.

It was not clear if the Schindlers had finally abandoned all legal avenues in their fight to restart their 41-year-old daughter's feeding, a cause that embroiled the Florida legislature, the U.S. Congress and President Bush.

I only wish I could be half the Father that Bob Schindler is. The man is what every Father should emulate. God Bless him and his wife.

Pray for W and Terri's Family

They're doing their job, remember?

As far as the ACLU is concerned HE'S their client.

And um.. a lot of members in the ACLU don't believe in 'that kind of stuff.'

They think it's superstition.

Wait until the day they don't wake up - they become believers, alright.

Oh, please. When was the last time a president got involved in anything to do with ONE person in a case like this?

Everyone knows you detest Bush and our military. You've spent the last year or so complaining about both incessantly.

Greer has to kill her to save face - he's past the point of no return and can't back down now so he has to make an excuse to throw out any new evidence, no matter how lame the excuse. It's at least about power, ego, and saving face, if not something even worse. This whole case wreaks of something - too much pathological obsession with killing this innocent woman.

I am not a lawyer, but here's my opinion: any judge making even a pretense of fairness or decency could only issue one ruling: "There's new evidence here, and from a credible source (a lawyer). Therefore, the feeding tube must be reinserted while further reviews of the situation are done."

I therefore personally take Greer's actions as confirmation that he is actively and deliberately killing Terri.

Yes, he is, and he is merely using the Schindlers - think of the mileage he'll get out of this with regards to his fundraising...

Keyes is there, too, but he's using them for his anti-Bush agenda.

I don't like seeing people being used - especially parents who are losing a child...

"Frankly when I saw her ... she looked beautiful. In all the years I've seen Mrs. Schiavo, I've never seen such a look of peace and beauty upon her. Mrs. Schiavo's death is not imminent by any means," he [Felos] said.

In January 2003, the doctor agreed to stop feeding Randy, and Bradley flew to North Dakota, to her son...For six days, Bradley sat by her son's bed, watching him die. Blisters pocked his mouth and tongue. His frail body shook with muscle cramps. It was agonizing, she says now: "gruesome, prolonged." source

Terri has been 8 days without water or food. Felos is a deranged madman if he saw beauty and peace.

Would you quit posting that propaganda?

If I recall you were against the Iraq war, so you know better. We've spent a bitter two years and more in which people argued saddam should have remained in power. He even had "human shields" rushing to his defense before the war! People are demanding he not receive so much as a paper cut in custody or they'll be hell to pay. It most certainly was not easy, revising history to suit your contention that they are cowards services a lie.

You want the definition of coward? Check out the silence of the Dems. Those that refused to take a stand. That is cowardice.

1. Gov. Bush as to WANT to find justice.

2. The Florida State Attorney General has to WANT to find justice to be served.

3. There has to be honest cops, courts, and politicians to WANT to find justice.

There is not a whole lot of 'wanting' in that state.

This country is still great! These evildoers Felos, Greer and Schiavo do not represent America they are only weeds among the amber waves of grain. America is filled with good people like you and they are unhappy, most of the ones that are indifferent are only that way because they have been denied the full facts of the case. This whole sad affair is a shot across the bow from the last gasps of the old media’s dying era. The battle is far over it has only just started. God has not departed and the fact that so many have commented positively and even cared enough to follow the case is evidence of such. There is no telling what is going to come from all of the prayers for Terri. I well know the power of prayer and something tells me were in for something big. This story isn’t over we need to keep it going until justice is served so I am going to keep praying and I hope everyone else continues also.

Tom DeLay on CNN was comparing the "debate" over Terri to his own legal troubles in Austin. He felt persecuted too! Imagine that.

outside the Florida hospice where Schiavo is being cared for

Cared for? If she were being cared for she would have her feeding tubes back in.

Gotta love the AP reporting. They should have said. Where Terri has been left to starve to death instead.

No, the Dems are not cowardly (just evil) in this case. They are following the old axiom: When thine enemy is self-destructing, sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

So, in other words, Judge Greer is saying, "I don't care if she talked, you didn't tell me soon enough, so she dies".

What a cold, heartless murderous SOB.
