This is the after action report regarding an ambush that was fought off and resulted in a major loss for the terrorists in Iraq a few days ago. There is video of this , taken by the insurgents.

The video shows the convoy moving and get abushed with the usual Muj gutteral uuttering of Allah Akbar. You then see the tractor trailers stopped, hear AK and RPG fire. The end of the video shows the Humvees show up and surprise the Muj, driving by very clsoe to whomever shot the video. The video then ends.

Here's the link to the video taken from the insurgents. That's right, they were filming this one so we get to watch it instead of the nice folks who tune into Al Jazeera every night. Check Winds of Change for the interviews of the Soldiers, too.

The Jihad Johnny's thought they had an easy victory ahead of them. Instead, they opened up a 55 gal drum of Kentucky whoop-ass on themselves!

...the .50 cal incendiary rounds they are issued in lieu of ball ammo (shortage of ball in the inventory) didn't have the penetrating power needed to pierce the walls of the building; Great job by the Kentucky soldiers....but the lack of ball ammo for .50 cal is an outrage. Ammo is not hard to manufacture, and the fact that we have run low from this war does not bode well for what would happen if we were involved in a bigger war or a two front war.

The sergeant runs low on ammo and runs back to a vehicle to reload. She moves to her squad leader's vehicle, and because this squad is led so well, she knows exactly where to reach her arm blindly into a different vehicle to find ammo-because each vehicle is packed exactly the same, with
disciplineDiscipline That's what makes the difference

The enemy has gone into the ditches and is hiding behind several small trees in the back of the lot. The .50 cal and SAW flanking fire tears apart the ten enemy in the lead trenchline. Stupid jihadists easily got flanked...the dingalings even had the initiative. Can you say turkey shoot.
