Terri did not suffer from any physical problem. She may have suffered due to lack of care, which Michael Schiavo made sure there was the least care possible.

(Yes, I still think the comparison between this and Nazism is quite apt..)Strikingly so. Right down to the deniers.

The deathacrats will pay for their running and hiding while Terri begged for her life.
I hope your right but doubt it. If the polls are somewhat accurate, then this country has lost its soul.

The "Pontius Pilate" in this is Ted Kennedy. No, the Pontius Pilate here is Judge Greer, as well as 65% of the Pinellas County voters who voted for him.

Yes just watch our nation fall. There will be a lot more Michaels coming out of the wood work soon now that it's close to being shown to everyone across the country that it is legal for an estranged husband to decide on his disabled wife's fate....

"Then you need to go down there and break it, and stop expecting someone else to do it for you. You need to go." I have already fought my wars. Me, not my daddy. And by the way my daddy probably bombed the enemy at Iwo saving your dad's butt so maybe you should thank me.
As for your CONSTANT insistance the every one quite their jobs, leave their family and march to jail in FLA, I probably would if either Bush asked for public support, but unlike you I know the value of leadership in a battle, without leadership you lose and losing battles are not my thing.

I stand corrected. The voters haven't been powerless. Just unwilling.
Powerless comes later.

The parallel with Rosa doesn't hold because Jeb has sworn an oath to uphold the laws of his state.
I know that breaking the law is sometimes necessary, but if one who has sworn to uphold it, does what he has sworn to do, then he cannot be castigated for it.
I wish he would break the law. I really do. I want Terri's life to be spared.......if it's not too late.

Jeb Bush did do everything. Too bad Florida statutory law is so sparse of law that could have saved poor Terri. With the Florida Legislature passing a law that made feeding tubes under the term life support, we have a state that is fertile ground for life terminating action for all of its retirement population. One suggestion: don't retire in Florida before they straighten out their laws on life support.

The voters haven't been powerless. Just unwilling. And sadly, that's worse. I bet 1/2 of the Greer voters didn't know who he was. Oh incumbent...
I'm actually amazed 35% didn't vote for him.

The deathacrats didn't do a thing. They ran like cowards with their tails between their legs while hoping all the time that this would cause a problem for President Bush and Gov Bush.
But it will come back to the deathacrats and sit on their death wishing door. Because while President Bush and Gov Bush tried to help the deathacrats set back and did nothing while Terri begged for her life!

I'm a little unclear on all this. Could you please tell me what that three-way post was.
Howlin, you know I'm one of the folks who completely respects you here, I just am not sure what that post is.
Please reply............. and may you have a meaningful Easter.
And I am so sorry that this Schiavo event has caused so much apparent dissonance here at FR. But, I believe it will end up bringing all good folks of good heart together in the end.
