I am dismayed that many here don't understand how complex a legal situation this is.......and that there are conservatives on both sides of it.

There is no doubt that what we want to happen is also what Jeb wants to do, but he is not about to break the law to do it.

I don't like that at all. I am grieved by it, but it may well end up being the final truth.

I still believe that there will be positive consequences to Terri's life (and possible death). This is a spiritual war, and it is not over by any means......

What I am saying is that there are Constitutional and legal experts who come down on both sides of this argument...........and one of the men I highly respect, Robert Bork, believes they have done all they can do legally.


I am sure a lot of top legal minds in Nazi Germany said the same thing. Again they were being "Good" Germans. They were following the "LAW" If you lived when this country had slavery and the Dred Scott decision solidified it, that would be OK with you or you would obey it & not help a runaway slave because that would be breaking the "LAW" right? Bork is PR for the Bush's & the Republican Party. Its going to get MUCH, MUCH, MUCH tougher for LIFE in this country I am afraid. Perhaps the Great Chastisement is near.
