Really? Is that why he didn't figure "your people" into his numbers in 2004? Did he tell you that? If he did, which I doubt, he lied to you.
To: EternalVigilance
Well, I know someone else is in agreement; I can take leave now!! I've got to go get some other things done. While hoping that Terri would be spared, I've been drawn to FreeRepublic. But, I am pretty well resigned to her death and so I hope to find it easier to stay away for a while now.
Prayers for all, including that @#$@#@ MS!!

I didn't say I was okay with the inaction.
I just haven't given up on Jeb or GWB yet. They're good men, and I trust they'll do the right thing. Terri's fighting to give them the time to do it. And God is helping her.
That's what I believe. That's what I'm praying for.

Rove couldn't count them, all one million inadvertently voted for Kerry. You know that's not true, right?
This is no time for facetiousness.

It has me sick. But it's also got me fighting mad! I want to work every legal angle we can to make sure Greer, Michael and Felos go down and take the deathacrats who ran and hid with them.
I'm trying to get everyone to email everyone they know to make sure they know that Terri begged for her life and Greer would not listen. If we do that and ask our friends to email their friends and tell them, then maybe in a couple of days the whole world will know what they did here.

It was all over the news BEFORE the election; he didn't count on the whacky extreme right wingers because they all sat home in 2000.
He can't COUNT on your "people" because there's NO TELLING what will set you off; your remarks on this thread are Exhibit A proving that factoid.

"LOL! Mr. Fairbanks is really Nancy Pelosi."
Well that certainly explains a lot.

It is sad, but not surprising, frankly.

I agree with every word you've said. Thank you for posting that.

EV,
It is wrong to expect the Bushes to break the law. I ended up on the parents' side and also supported the de novo review. It didn't happen.
It's time for closure.

Mr Fairbanks is seeing a lot of hysteria around here. Is anyone else seeing that, or should we just assume that he is hallucinating? He is not hallucinating.
To: marquis7772
I don't think you'll be disappointed. Men like MS have to have someone to kick around. If I were his live-in I'd be sorely afraid. Once she gets her hands on the money, willing to bet the fur will fly. Never fear, we're going to be reading about him in the near future. One way or the other.

Sadly, both the moderates and conservatives are doing a lot of "threatening to leave the party" around here. The fact is the Bushes and Congress took controversial steps to try and assist a dying woman. Some will say they didn't do enough, some say too much. Are they politicians first - surely. But they are no doubt closer to most of us in belief and action than the lousy Democrats. This is an ugly and emotional issue, so we all are venting here. But in the end (sadly not long now for Terri), we have to take away something from this, or just leave it behind and try to coalesce around the issues that remain. I think we will do that and all the shouting now is mostly temporary.

You do realize I wasn't the "brain" that made that comment, right? ;)
To: EternalVigilance
I swear I hear chants of "die Terri" coming from some posts. Conservatives cheering for death...go figure

The people I refer to are far from wackos, as you allege. They are law-abiding, God-fearing Americans of great character...the salt of the earth.
That must be why you despise them so much.
To: Chad Fairbanks
"someone goes after Greer"
That does NOT mean violence, it means that the corruption charges against him need to be investigated.
To: Chad Fairbanks
Thanks, but that doesn't say who was a Clinton-appointee and who wasn't.
To: WhistlingPastTheGraveyard
