God will continue to comfort the Schiavo family. Heartbreaking news once again.

Yikes... didn't you mean that God will continue to comfort the SCHINDLER family? I think that Greer, Felos, and the other wimps have been comforting the Schiavo family all along.

Greer's original death order said that parties could appeal with new information AT ANY TIME PRIOR to her death.

Greer is now in violation of his own death order, due to his loss of patience.

He will be guilty of her wrongfulful death

God changes men's hearts - YES

BUT ONLY if men want a change. It's a free will thingie going on. They MUST want it first. Some hearts are too hardened.

On the one hand, I am annoyed at their failure to make that attempted statement known within an hour of its happening,

Over the years, plenty of people have said that Terri has tried to communicate. Greer ignored them because Michael's Dr. Kevorkians insisted she couldn't talk.

I think Greer was not informed of this particula event last week, because it was likely that Greer would dismiss this new information and the Schindlers were busy pursuing other legal avenues.

Greer should have seen Terri in person. He didn't. Now a law needs to be passed that says judges must visit with patients whose lives they can take away.

Oh Chad, you are so smart! You have seen right through me! Damn, are you a close relative of Perry Mason?!

OK, OK, I admit it; if MS were standing in front of me right now, I would indeed give serious consideration to inflicting serious physical damage to him, to the point that I believed he would be in a PVS, or dead. I am so so so sorrry...NOT!

Unfortunately, MS will never be standing right in front of me, but I do believe that someone will get that snake, stay tuned...

Thank God.

Sorry you were so inconvenienced by the starvation and dehydration of a young woman. Perhaps you could head down there and put a bullet through her forehead, to further hasten your discomfort away. At least that way her death would be merciful.

What did I say that made you think otherwise?

Forgive me; I think I made an assumption based on a hasty reading of what you had written. Actually, I believe in my heart of hearts that the Almighty has the power and the will to intervene for the good in human affairs. I believe that based on my own personal experience, and not any kind of philisophical or rational argumentation.

I know, the hard-bitten realist act. I've been seeing it all week.

Still doesn't explain your need to come here and rub salt in the wounds of people who are clearly hurting. The logical assumption is, you're doing it to amuse yourself.

The MRI shows anatomy.

I believe Greer has achieved what no one has ever been able to achieve. He has bracketed the parameters of life worth saving. He has, by court decree, said those who have a functional cerebral cortex have this constitutional right to live. A developing neural tube can be demonstrably shown to have electrical activity and therefore should not denied the right to life to any baby at least after the neural tube begins developes. That is only a few weeks into gestation.

Greer attempts to walk in the steps which God alone should walk. He walks where tyrants and dictators have walked, and no one in our government or the Florida state government has attempted to stand against, except the lawyers for the Schindlers.

An abused woman was rescued from a hospital in Iraq, but we can't rescue an abused woman from a hospital in Florida?

Some talkshow that is on only Saturday morning is taking MS's side and letting TS die.

The problem with this is that it is not a question of 'letting TS die.' Nobody is going so far as to even put food or water in front of her or put a moist cloth in her mouth. This is not 'letting TS die.' but is not giving her a chance to see if she can swallow. That has been the assertion, that she cannot swallow; that is why she has a feeding tube. Yet she used to be able to swallow to at least a limited degree. Stamp out such fallacious, creative and evil-minded memes.

Now is the time for Jeb to take acton. He should go on the offensive against this judge. You have an officer of the court saying she tried to communicate on 3/18/05. The judges response is that was involuntary action. How does he know this did he see her? She is now being sentenced to death without a jury of her peers. What if she suddenly came out of the coma like other people have done? is she still sentenced to die?

It's hard to believe how many respected, very experienced attorneys have written Jeb Bush saying just this. Truth is he lacks the courage of his convictions. He, along with the Congress of the United States, has let an entry level judge put them under his thumb. All his 'news conference' did was to telegraph his intentions to the other side and thereby assure that he could not, or would not, use that very legally sound approach. He has not lost me for failing to act on Terri's case, he has lost me because he opened his mouth, made big sounds and then dropped out of sight without a peep. I've used it before, but will repeat it for those who haven't heard the phrase. Back where I come from a man in his position was said to be suffering from a bad case of hummin'gator. He let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird ass. Again, I don't fault him for not acting to save Terri and thereby test all that this judge has done that is shady. I do take him to task for that sham 'news conference' the other day. Until proved otherwise, he is a man who will not back up his talk.

What's sad is, you sound almost gleeful about the prospect of someone being killed - wther he deserves it or not is not really being debated, but keep in mind that murder is murder period. Terri is being murdered by judicial fiat, and MIchael Shiavo being murderd by someone is also murder - BOTH are wrong. Period.

I'll keep a close eye on any grilled cheese sandwiches I run across, then... and I'll make sure if anyone has a Terri Shiavo statue, to look for bleeding eyes on it...

That's beneath you, Chad.

I think Greer has sealed his fate. The word of Terri's crying out for her life and Greer's dismissing her own plea will take them all under. Greer, Felos and Michael.

Every one just has to keep on telling everyone who Terri cried out for her life and Greer would not listen.
