The only problem with your theology is that God does allow the consequences of evil when we choose it and allow it to happen. God's will is that we value life. Period!
Please consider this. True, God gave we humans "free will" and, true, there are consequences of our disobedience (evil).
But let's don't put limits on God. He is all powerful. He has ALL OF THE POWER. God can use EVERYTHING for his glory.
This Easter weekend, Christians around the world are celebrating God's power in overcoming the crucificion. This is the ultimate example (which we can apply in our daily lives) that God's love can overcome the most grievous events.
That's what faith is all about. Holding a grudge is limiting God and his power. We are fooling ourselves if we think that we have power over God's plan. Your argument seems to be that we are not trying hard enough to exert human power.
Of course, I believe that God has given us the inspiration and ability to make the necessary changes within our political system to remove those persons in elected and appointed positions whose actions and behaviors DO NOT REPRESENT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.
This is the proper use of our WILL. Let's start the work of balancing the 3 branches. This great republic of ours deserves our attention if it is going to survive.
Hate to pee in your wheaties, but that ain't gonna happen.
He doesn't sleep at night ... that's when he goes out looking for blood.

I'm sorry, I have to guffaw. Poor old Lawyer Felos married a most perceptive woman!
I agree

Of course, according to YOU, these "nutjobs", as YOU called them, would also just have to be "radical pro-lifers", as YOU called them also.
Let me ask you this:
If you knew that a murder was taking place on your street or in your town at a particular place would you make sure you stopped by while it was going on?
They feel bound by nothing at all, certainly not by legislation directing their own conduct. And it wasn't just Greer. It was the whole judicial establishment, federal and state, and their supporters/enablers.
He could have removed her before holding the press conference, allowing Greer to issues his illegal order, which Gov. Bush isn't willing to risk blooshed over.
He did mess up, by underestimating Judge Greer's willingness to violate the separation of powers.
This was/is an opportunity to not only save an innocent woman, but also to send a signal that judges will no longer be allowed to rule this country. For so very long we have behaved exactly as frogs in slowly heating water; now it's boiling around us as our intended form of government has evolved into a mutated mess. It was never intended for a tiny handful of men in robes to be able to continually subvert the will of the people by injecting their own personal beliefs and agendas into decisions instead of simply interpreting the constitution and the laws of the land.
A strongly armed contingent should rescue her, after which Jeb Bush should explain why. Radical? Perhaps. But what was the Revolution? What was the Declaration of Independence? We have become so conditioned, so soft, so subservient a people that the thought of defying some yahoo in a black robe is now virtually unthinkable to this country.
Systems require shakeup and ours hasn't had one in a long, long time. Sadly, I don't think it's coming, either. This is a time for ultra-bold and courageous leaders to step forward, but it would appear it's not going to happen. The result will be an even tighter grip by a runaway judiciary that already wields the power of a monarchy. It's a tragic, heartbreaking day.

You are 100% correct. Jeb Bush went over and beyond, in his attempts to save Terri.
Regardless of any arguments about legal and court stuff (pardon the simplicity), it's unbelievable that any American can order the denial of attempts to give moisture and nourishment through the mouth.
Unfortunately I don't think a modern MRI couldactually be performed, from information I've seen - some elctrode type thingies she had embedded in her brain in the early 90s... I could be wrong, But I think that is actually why one hasn't been done.
I see wrongful death civil suits a mile deep. Michael will regret this for the rest of his life. Greer may be toast after this, my Florida contacts are outraged at Greer's actions.
May God bless Judge Greer and lead him in the path of peace and rightousness. Have mercy on his soul.
I am Sorry...for this post!
I replayed it on the Tivo, but didn't record it.
Of all things to get screwed-up on; I goofed this one.
Sorry, to you, and to all.
Who are you trying to punish. Seems like you have "I'LL SHOW HIM" attitude.
If you didn't enjoy this current 'murder by decree' - you think you would be happier under her 'reign'.
Reflect - who is "in charge" during this fiasco? Clinton's appointee. Get it? w/o her being prez, you are getting a taste - just a taste of what's to come with your vote.
Why would he call a press conference? (Not asking you, just wondering aloud). He won. There is no need to face the press.
Has the family seen her this am? Could she be dead and cremated?
No, that's an extremely long involved process which also requires a couple of miracles. Not gonna happen any way, any how.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT!!!
I had been wondering what the laws concerning autopsies where cremation is involved in FLA.
Now, lets see if this BLACK AND WHITE law is upheld, or if, as we have seen in other cases involving laws that are black and white, there is an attempt to weasal out of it. I just see Greer and some judges: "We know her cause of death, so we don't need no stinking autopsy..."
I'm Praying for you pal
