We'll never know the truth of what happened. And I don't want to see someone die without food or water if that was not their wishes. But we just don't know. And legally, that is what the courts are supposed to follow.

You are 100% right, we will probably never know the truth. BUT, I also believe that the courts didn't get the truth about Terri's end of life requests. They believed the hearsay evidence that Michael fed to them and erred on the side of death.

True, there are many of these end of life cases each day but none are as unique as this one. To the courts this case was about 'he said, she can't say'. The courts believed him and ignored her attempt as the tubes were being pulled.......

Oh, please do add my to your hall of fame, if you haven't already. Because I do think that every one of you are doing your best to assist in this execution. I'd hate to be left off. If wanting to save a life makes me a "wacko", then I wear the name proudly.

The doctors who ordered that Terri be moved to Judge Greers hospice facility lied in order to do so. They said, on the medical record justifying the move, that she had a disease and would die within six months of that "disease". She has no disease, she has a brain injury and obviously did not die within six months.

Why isn't that alone enough to get her removed? The Hospice Alliance has spoken out against this deception used to get Terri into a place where she could be killed. They note that hospice was never intended to be used as an excuse to kill the disabled. I don't get it.

Something evil this way comes.

The "euphoria" of starvation and death can be extended to those suffering from AIDS. I wonder if the NY Times analysis can be extended to those in terminal stages of AIDS?

I would love to see the howls or protest if Saddam didn't get his "three squares" a day and all the drink he wanted. These are the same people who think prisoners at Abu Ghraib suffered more by wearing underwear on their heads than Terri is suffering this week.
