Good point. I wonder if the Ft writer realizes that it's the Baathists and Sunnis who had the most access to Saddam's munitions. Zarqawi was not in any position to loot the muntion dumps as the U.S. was advancing on Baghdad. The Baathists and Republican Guard knew the house was coming down and where the goodies to carry on the struggle were located. These are bad guys who have much more deadly stuff than Zarqawi. Let them come completely clean, expose their weapons caches, AND give any info on Zarqawi and his minions and then we can talk about protecting their security.
