Jesus awaits Terri Schiavo at the gates of heaven with open arms. My God is a loving God and Christians should not fear death. Let Terri go bump.

Is it true that they are not going to allow even the Last Rites of the Catholic Church to be given her?

I agree with you.. I think this proves that we need to reign in these judges who think that they have all of the power.. Let her die in peace and we need to calm down. Don't blame GW and Jeb.

I agree with you. I'm getting very unnerved by the discussion of Jeb being a traitor,etc.etc. when there's only so much he can do. I think people are now very desperate. As I said to another freeper yesterday, I'm not desperate. I refuse to entertain such thoughts because there's nothing that I can do. All the legal options have been exhausted. I hope God takes Terri home. Good essay Mike.

This is a land of laws, not men. Congress passed a law that the Schiavo case had to be heard de nuevo. But a man named Greer decided to ignore that.

Bull. Letting Terri die is far, far worse than anything Nixon ever did.

I'm hearing conflicting stories about that myself.

Funny, but none of the people arguing this seem too eager to meet Jesus in heaven themselves.

Good job for Good Friday.
God bless Terri, soon to be safe in the arms of Jesus.
To: Drango
*bump* The rule of law, acting as though it is carrying out Terri's wishes, may have killed her in what I think is a medically unethical fashion, is likely to be acting, in fact, against her wishes.
My God is a loving God and Christians should not fear death. Let Terri go bump.
Amen. Terri does not fear death, and no Christian does either. Life on earth is imperfect, replete with murder, rape, man's inhuamity to man; and so says the Bible, the world will continue to spin, until God decides it will stop.

Agreed. Sadly, I have also come to this conclusion these past couple of days. We all know she will be in a better place.

well stated...the only problem is that you have conceded the first and most important step in all of this...someone is going to KILL her so that all of the rest may happen
I am worried about Constitutional protection also--against activist judges!
what's next?...first brain damaged women and then handicapped babies?--oh yeah, we already have the Peter Singers of the world calling for that...such is the slippery slope!

I know its frustrating, but as a Christian, we should never want anyone to go to eternal damnation. It is God's gift of salvation for all which breaks us free from our sin nature.
As much as I despise this man, I hope he finds Christ and finds what he did not give Teri - mercy.
If he claims he is a Christian, I do not know how he can sleep at night. God chastens his children in his own way to that effect.

I believe that I heard on FOX that she had the Last Rites when the tube was removed.

Talk show host Neil Boortz has taken the stance that Terri Schiavo has earned her place in heaven, and that we, as a people, should let her go home. I want to know when Boortz suddenly decided that religious beliefs are a sound basis for public policy.

Translation: Yes, go back to sleep, those of you who are so "emotional" about the ordered starvation death of an innocent woman. Just be sure to show up at the polls and vote Republican so we can keep our taxes from going up, because that's what's really important to us economic conservatives. We just need your votes every election year, but otherwise, your religious fanaticism embarrasses us.
